This charming and high-quality apartment is part of the "Rustico Campello" in the old part of the village of Gardola, the main town of the entire municipality of Tignale, which also includes the towns of Oldesio, Olzano, Aer, Piovere and Prabione. The Rustico Campello can be traced back to the 16th century and was lovingly renovated from the ground up a few years ago with high-quality materials and an eye for detail.
The apartment is spacious and bright, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers and a large open living, kitchen and dining area. 3 large patio doors offer a view of Lake Garda, which can also be enjoyed from inside. The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, oven and all the utensils for preparing delicious meals. The fenced garden is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue.
The beautiful pool allows you to look across the valley to Lake Garda and all the way to Sirmione while swimming and leisurely floating on the water. Since the apartment is located in the old village center, we ask for your consideration during lunchtime and at night.
The breathtaking view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains can be enjoyed from the large balcony terrace with a latte macchiato in the morning, with meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen or with excellent regionally produced wine. The apartment combines the tranquility of the old village center with its authentic Italian flair, which does not require any further tourist use, with the center of the village, which is a 2-minute walk away and where everything is available: supermarkets with local specialties, restaurants, post office, pharmacy, gas station, butcher's shop and bakery, and much more. Enjoy a cappuccino in the Piccola Bar and the colorful comings and goings of the authentic village, which welcomes guests from all over the world.
Gardola has a tourist office that offers a wide range of offers and organized events (cultural, sporting, for children / families) all year round - but especially in the spring and summer months. In the spring and summer months, a shuttle bus connects the town four times a day with the associated "Porto di Tignale", a beautiful bathing area with a bistro kiosk, rental loungers and parasols as well as a variety of water activities (surfing, kayaking and much more). If you dare, you can jump from trees or rock formations into the clear lake or visit the Limonaia there, a lemon greenhouse that supplied the cool north of Europe with lemons for centuries.
Gardola can be reached within 12 minutes by car from the famous Gardesana on a very well-developed road that offers beautiful panoramas of the lake and the mountains. It is a 15-minute drive to Gargnano, 30-40 to Saló, and in between there are other beautiful places such as Toscolano-Maderno, which also has a ferry to the other side of the lake to Torri del Benaco.
From Gardola there are numerous hiking and mountain bike routes into the mountains and down to the lake. Trips to places around Lake Garda, which offers many activities for solo travelers and families (including the Gardaland theme park), are just as possible as day trips to Venice, Milan and Brescia, to name just a few.
A check-in & out service allows for personal explanations of the apartment. Parking directly at the house is not possible due to the narrow streets of the old part of the village. However, there is a parking space a few minutes away in the village center.
