"The Murray Arms is an excellent place to stay ,two minutes from the Pentland Ferry terminal. It is spotlessly clean with a nice bar and restaurant. The staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and evening meals are excellent, would definitely return."

"Beautiful location. Room was comfy and cozy. The bathtub was amazing after a day out exploring. The room we had had windows looking at the sky / and a beautiful view over the water. It was quiet and lovely. The restaurant was fairly priced and delicious. The included breakfast was delicious (and hot) and plentiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was sad to leave it felt like home after just a couple of nights. There was lots of parking (free)"

"The room was clean and comfortable. It needs to be made clearer in hotel advance information what the situation is. I was not aware until I arrived that the hotel I was staying in was in fact an annexe of the hotel nearby. That was a bit of a surprise. Being able to leave my luggage before and after check-in/check-out was appreciated when transport to and from the Ireland was early or overnight. Food and drink was of a high quality but rather expensive."
