- great location, security staff was helpful - check in instructions were late and not convenient with a vehicle - purchased additional parking but didn't receive key to exit the underground parkin garage, so had to figure out a maze to finally walk up 4 flights of stairs through the emergency exit

The property had everything that we needed but could have been cleaner. The rug, toilet and bed sheets were stained. The balcony was covered of dust as the windows. One of the curtain was missing, letting the morning light going through. Overall we liked our stay because it was close to the attractions we planned to see.

I stayed at The Bay Suites - Entertainment District and had a smooth, comfortable experience. The suite was on the 18th floor of a residential high-rise, with a balcony that offered a nice view of the city, the water, and the CN Tower. Not exactly breathtaking, but still enjoyable — especially for someone like me who’ll likely never own a place like that. It was fun to pretend for a bit! Some of the reviews had made me worry about the location, but in reality, it was clean, convenient, and felt safe. Check-in was easy and everything went as expected. Just keep in mind this isn’t a hotel — it’s more like a small, fully equipped apartment. Great for a short stay or overnight visit. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something simple and well-located.

These people are scumbags. Do not trust them. I booked a 2 bedroom. They called at 10:00PM at night. Less than 24 hours before checkin. Told me I had to take a 1 bedroom or they would cancel my reservation. When I arrived it was a studio apartment and not even a 1 bedroom. They lied and said they would refund $80.00. Never refunded the money. Day 2 of my stay someone had entered the apartment to do maintenance. THEY LEFT THE DOOR UNLOCKED. These people are horrible. Stay somewhere else. Expedia has been wonderful in assisting. Do not book

If you stay here, you might not need a car We came via VIA rail, walked to this hotel, roaming around city by Uber+Public Transport was also very convenient. You can just walk to Harbour front, another plus point

Only complaint was the bathroom sliding door was broken and stuck sticking partially out whichbhad a very shap metal peice on the bottom that caught my baby toe and cut it quite deeply 1 day into my night stay.

The property was superficially clean but run down and in need of repair. The master bedroom door was lying on the patio, the picture in the bathroom was broken. Extensive water damage on the flooring. A carpet covering a section of missing floor. The patio doors didn’t lock and the list goes on.....

Horrible suite

This was by far one of the worst accommodations I’ve ever stayed in. The floors were damaged and in disrepair, and there was a makeshift apparatus blocking the window that still failed to keep the wind out. Broken mirrors. Heater not working. The overall condition of the unit was unacceptable, and the service provided by the suite owners was completely unprofessional. I was asked to pay a deposit which I did numerous times but kept getting reversed, due to no fault of mine. The sketchy suite owners then requested e-transfer deposit (which is not a secure form of payment) and I still haven’t received my deposit back. I deeply regret booking this place and strongly advise others to avoid it.

The worst experience ever

Travellers beware! Never book here! This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. - the instructions on how to access the unit were confusing: I arrived around 11pm and had to stand out in the cold for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get in. - I arrived to the unit to find that there was no power: no electricity for lights, except one light. After an hour on the phone I was told this can’t be fixed and I had to spend the night without power. So shower in the dark. Brunch teeth in the dark. No charging phones all night. - the bed was extremely uncomfortable. This is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever been on. - the blinds were broken so light came in and woke me up 4 hours later. - there is no coffee in the apartment, and even if there was, how would I make it without power. - I checked out that morning due to the terrible service. I only stayed for one night out of four booked, and I was not offer a refund - not even for the three nights I didn’t spend there.

At first, I thought it was a bit sketchy checking in online and meeting someone on a side street for the keys. However, once I got passed that, I was pleasantly surprised. The ease of getting to where I needed to go, the view was spectacular, the accommodations were amazing. Two of my colleagues did the same thing and were also pleased with everything. I’m definitely returning when downtown Toronto again.

Was a shame that there were no forks for the meal we had planned and the coffee maker didn't work. Balcony door was very hard to open. Enjoyed the views and location very much though since everything we wanted was within walking distance.
