Do NOT rent from this host.

Before I booked I asked a question about the AC being fixed based on previous renter feedback. They replied saying it was all good and I confirmed the booking. In the WEEKS leading up to the trip it was radio silence, so fine wasn’t worried. 72hrs prior to the trip I get my “keys” email. But contained no specific address details nor access information, I emailed Vrbo and was told that I needed to wait until the day of the trip as they can’t do anything until the 4pm check in time. So it’s now the morning of still nothing, we hop on the flight and just hope for the best. We land and 4pm arrives and nothing, now VRBO says they can refund and cancel the booking but now we have to find a new place. Nightmare start to the trip, I should’ve paid heed to the previous renters who also complained about lack of communication from home, so if you’re reading this don’t ruin your trip by booking here, go elsewhere!

Complete disaster

The owner of this property did not reply to any of my messages leading up to the reservation. I arrived with two small children and my elderly in-laws. We were locked out and on the street for over an hour before the owner finally returned my call to tell me there is no electricity in the rental and we could not stay there. We were left scrambling to find a hotel and blew our budget because of having to find last-minute accommodation. This is either a scam or the owner is completely incompetent.

Very nice house

House was very nice and clean, I was unaware it was 3 floors but wasn’t an issue, very comfortable and clean property can’t say anything negative except the WiFi was out for the entire stay and the host stated they would have taken care of it and it didn’t happen so that was very unprofessional and inconvenient as the host did not reach out with an update after they said it would be taken care of. Renters will love the home but be wary of communications with host- I also was not provided access code to property until 2 hours after arriving into the country on the day of check in, it was supposed to be provided 24 hrs in advance and host stated it would be available by 11 am on check in day which did not happen until after 4pm

Unit number of the townhouse was not shared before checkin. My international guests were waiting on the road for half an hour until the owner responded. AC didnt cool the upper floor and master bedroom was very hot. There were very little basic toiletries in each washroom. Lastly, on the first day it was very very hard to get a response from the owner. I tried calling them like 10 times. We also tried calling VRBO for support and I spent 2hrs in total waiting and my call with an agent dropped 3 times after which I gave up. We had a wedding in the house and i had to waste my precious time to get in touch with the owner and VRBO with no luck. Me and my guests were not happy with the whole experience. VRBO support sucks.

Dusty, Dirty carpet flooring, broken doors

Very dusty, verg stained carpeting, garage smells horrifying, no shower curtain in one washroom, cheap, minimum soap, towels, bed sheets. one bedroom door was broken, ran out of toilet paper rolls. Host was hard to communicate with but seemingly tried their best. lots of mould in shower, basement toilet is slanted to one side. lots and lots of stairs! this is a 4 bedroom place, the 5th bed does not exist unless you get creative. sheets were stained with a lollipop and a white substance. would not stay here again, has made me re think ever booking through a home rental app again.

Sehr enttäuschen! Nicht weiter zu empfehlen

Der Check-In war sehr verspätet, so dass wir vor der Tür warten mussten. Wir trafen die Vermieterin und Ihre Kinder. Die Vermieterin hat sich für die Verspätung entschuldigt. Die Vormieter seien zu spät ausgecheckt und sie haben noch geputzt...Wir empfanden es als nicht so schlimm, da die Dame sehr nett war. Sie erklärte, dass sie gerne später noch einmal kommen würde um mehr Handtücher zu bringen. Wir freuten uns und verabschiedeten uns vorerst. Uns fiel kurz darauf auf, dass auch das versprochene Babybett fehlte. Daher schrieben wir, ob sie dies bitte dann auch mitbringt. Wir waren mit einem Baby gereist und haben extra vor der Reise danach gefragt.... Es kam keiner mehr. Auch keine Mail, kein Bett, keine Handtücher nichts!!! Am nächsten Tag kam eine Entschuldigungsmail. Wir hätten sie falsch verstanden. Sie sei weg gefahren und schickt aber jemanden die Sachen bringen. Also wir waren 3 Erwachsene Personen und haben es sicher nicht falsch verstanden!!! Nun gut die erste Nacht war doof. Es wird alles gut. Dachten wir.,... es kam wieder keiner! Und auf Mail wurde einfach gar nicht mehr reagiert.... echt eine Frechheit! Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren katastrophal!! Viele Gläser kaputt, Geschirr nicht ausreichend, der Ofen dreckig mit Essensresten, Töpfe und Gläser dreckig, unter den Betten Zeitungen, Zopfgummis, kaputte Möbel, TV ohne Kabel... 1 Müllbehälter für 8 Personen völlig unzureichend! Zur Übergabe ist auch niemand erschienen!!
