Run down

Pros: no bedbugs
Cons: Poor breakfast, run down
The lobby was attractive and well kept. Our room was dingy, with visible dirt on ceiling. One wall socket was partially dismantled and hanging out of the wall - a definite fire and shock hazard, especially if young children had been present. The bathroom had peeling paint and wallpaper along with a loose shower head. There was a complimentary continental breakfast, but by the time we arrived, there was only cold cereal, bagels and bread left. The yogurt had been consumed, but the unattractive/unsanitary giant squeeze bag was still on the counter.

dirty and in disrepair

Pros: Free Internet, 400 and 401 not too far away, 2 grocery stores near by
Cons: dirty, run down
Entering the hotel, you are pleased with its apparent newly renovated lobby way, but are certainly soon to be disappointed thereafter. The hotel room at a quick glance seemed satisfactory, however as it turned out, I was sadly mistaken. The microwave was missing, the fridge did not work, the sheets, blanket and curtains all had cigarette burns. The curtains had a few large rips, the shower never received warm water, even though the water ran for 15 minutes at 5:30am. The ceiling had a terrible crack extending along the entire width of the room which was big enough to put a frisbee through easily. The alarm clock never worked, nor did the lamp beside it. My bleach wipes were turned black with a few swipes across the remoted and washroom facets, etc. So, with this filthy room in such disrepair, I visited the front desk where a nice gentleman wrote down my comments and had only a quick, "um...sorry about that." I guess you get what you pay for, and don't expect a follow-up from the hotel staff nor your money back.

Disappointed in accommodations

Pros: Cheap rate
Cons: Everything
Location: Not a very nice neighborhood. Stores and resturants were old and in disrepair.
Hotel was part of package deal. Pictures on website are misleading. Carpets were disgusting with obvious traffic marks and had not been steam cleaned in several years. Unfinished renovations in hallway with no signs of further work being completed. Wallpaper was torn. Ceilling tiles in hallway were cracked. WiFi was terrible, only worked during daytime or late at night. Was once a nice hotel but has fallen into disrepair. Neighorhood was not tourit friendly. Exterior Security doors were nonfunctional. Found food stuffed into Air conditioner. Staff did respond to issue quickly and cleaned it. Room motivated us to find things to do away from the hotel.

Horrible

Stay there a few days before our trip, booked a return hotel stay, we didn't stay still paid for the room, please see other reviews I wrote on this hotel. Wouldn't let my husband and I stay there let alone any of my family. Travelocity needs to go and see the conditions of this hotel. I didn't even ask for a refund.

Horrible hotel wouldn't stay there for free

Pool empty, wallpaper falling down, all the base boards were off, carpet throughout the hotel stained or missing pieces, ice machine not working none of them. Most of the restaurants in the hotel were closed for "renovations'. Lamps in room were connected to extention cords, mold and mildew in the bathrooms. We booked another night on our way back home Aug 11th, we didn't stay, good God I wouldn't let my neighbor stay there let alone us being to grown adults. You Travelocity need to go see this hotel. Spoke to people on shuttle, they were from another country and they said they were scared and they had 2 small kids.. oh and garbage was overflowing outside on thier property and inside the hotel.

An absolute bargain - for a reason.

Pros: The room rate
Cons: A bargain is a bargain for a reason.
The part of the hotel was under renovation - it was not noted in the info for the hotel . Some peoples sensibilities would probably be offended as the paint on the ceiling in the corner in the shower was peeling and the grout in the tile had a bit of mould. The room was as clean as most hotels. The room did not smell , wife very sensitive to that. The bed was comfortable , the pillows thick but slightly lumpy. It was quiet and had a good nights sleep. Just need a place to put our heads down, so this fit the bill perfectly . At $40 in Toronto I have no complaints what so ever, thank you.

I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

Pros: Nothing is good about this place. I tried to save a few $ and suffered for it. I would have stayed at the $250 a night hotels if I could do it again.
Cons: Everything, starting with the manager and staff. They were rude and incompetent. The room stunk and bed uncomfortable.WiFi connection, cleaning staff.
Location: When I pulled up to the hotel I felt I had made a mistake. The building looked old and there was hardly any sign to find the hotel.Nothing is close.
