Stayed for 10 days, apartment clean,beautiful views, easy access to surounding areas.One of my main reasons to book was 2 sunloungers on balcony plus english channels. Only 1 lounger and no channels. Brought this to attention of aurelios and also main office on day of arrival and got no reponse from either. I would have given 5* if correspondence better. Also living door would not lock and clothes horse was broken. Feel checks before arrival should have been more thorough.

Our stay was amazing. The view down the beach and over the promenade was awesome and the apartment was fabulous - very spacious, comfortable with a huge balcony to watch sunsets. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was included. In short, we loved our stay and would recommend anyone who wants to visit this area to stay at the Santa Clara Apartment. Not quite as pictured

The property was very clean and in a great location with wonderful views however was not quite as pictured. That palm tree in the corner of the patio was replaced by a pile of beach chairs and a clothes drying rack. One of the lounge chairs had a cushion and the other while clean had stains. The pretty white couch in the living area was actually a large grey sleeper with a bed sheet as a cover. The multiple pillows shown on the bed were three very thin pillows for two people. The overall building felt old and the people working the desk where not very friendly. The lobby and common area were very large and clean but there was only one lone couch and an unpluged vending machine. The check in process was also strange. We had to pay the owner direct through a transfer or cash on arrivial. It was NOT handled through VRBO. It felt very strange. On the whole the property worked out great. It was clean with wonderful views and location. But the pictures in the posting were definitely a bit misleading.

The view from the balcony is outstanding, however during our mid to late May stay, it was so windy on the balcony mid day it was not usable. The condo itself is wonderful and a great location. We checked in before 4pm. The person who was supposed to show us all the details couldn't make it so after 45 minutes of waiting, the concierge just gave us a key and room number. It's very helpful to have the Whats App downloaded so you can communicate with the person who checks you in. We didnt know that so we had no WiFi info or anything else till 11am the following day. Be prepared to buy all your own paper products including toilet paper. Very sparsely outfitted so if you arrive at night make sure you have water, etc. Aurillio, who we met the day after check-in was very responsive once we had a way to contact him. Management company was unreachable at 4pm and needs to do a better job. Overall, we enjoyed our time there very much.

Stunning Santa Clara

This property has the best views, it’s nice and clean and modern and of a high standard, all you need for a summer break home from home. The pool area is excellent too and the lift to the beach is fab. Really good restaurants nearby and fantastic walking along the promenade - will return. Maria and Aurelia really helpful 👍 Only downside was paying the balance and security deposit. Whilst you can pay the security deposit by credit card, you have to pay the balance in cash. Also to note there is no air con as such in the bedroom, it’s a fan. It was ok for us as we kept the door slightly open. And perhaps a new ironing board please, although most guests prob don’t use one on holiday! Thank you for a lovely 10 days

Awesome place, perfect location

The apartment at the Castillo Santa Clara was so comfortable as we hoped for. Perfectly located in the middle of everything. Restaurants bars, downtown area, supermarkets and of course the beach! The apartment is well furnished, i’d add a kettle in the kitchen but not a big deal. The apartment comes equipped with two very comfortable beach chairs and an umbrella so you don’t have to pay €6 (each person) to lay down and relax at the beach. The Castillo has its own lounge chairs around the terrace that you can use also to sunbathe if you don’t want to get sand in your toes. You also have a great sitting area in the balcony with a couple of tables where we enjoyed our breakfast just watching the waves crash on La Carihuela beach. They also have for you a wheeled shopping cart that was super handy for when we went to buy some groceries for breakfast and snacking. There is a restaurant right by the pool you can enjoy also. The whole property is extremely safe and grounds perfectly cared for,with doors and elevator that only work with access cards provided by Carlos who took all the time to show us how everything worked in the apartment and around all the property. If i can just suggest one thing it would be to replace the light fixture in the bedroom with a ceiling fan, don't get me wrong the a/c works great, but if there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom we would’ve turned the a/c off and crack open the window to sleep to the sound of the waves. Carlos recommended a couple of restaurants we went to and they were amazing. Every thing was just as explained, very relaxing holiday Appartment was spotlessly clean with fully equipped kitchen 100% recommended !! the only downside for me was I waiting 3 weeks to get my damage deposit back with I thought was unexceptable .

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed to make our holiday fantastic..

We really liked the apartment and it had everything we would want, from the apartment it was very easy to get into Torremolinos town centre and if you went past the pool and through the decking area you could take private elevators onto the promenade of Carihuela, so it make it a perfect location. The apartment was very quiet at night so no problems sleeping at night, found the service Waterfrontmalaga offered was great, would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

Stunning view

Very nice apartment but little to small for 4 person. WiFi and AC was very good. Very fresh apartment and it got everything what you need (the only thing is that it has no dishwasher :(). The view from the balcony is fantastic and the pool area is also great and it's very close to the beach. There can be a problem to get a parking because sometimes the garage was full and you need to park far from the apartment and it cost you aprox. 22 EUR / day. It would be better if we could have rented a parking in the garage because now you never know if you got one or not.....

Fantastic location

Lovely spacious apartment. Comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Reasonable kitchen utensils. Fridge/freezer excellent. No English channels only BBC news, which was a negative as we stayed Jan & Feb and was cold at night and to have had T.V. to watch would have been great. Washing machine very useful for long stay. Lots of bars and restaurants along the strip, more opening as the weeks went by. On the whole very enjoyable experience.
