Its ok

The position of the motel was great, oposite the strand and well within reach of really nice restaurants. Including the Shorehouse restaurant, which as great. The room its 5 out of 10 for everything. Everything half worked or was half serviceable. For the price you are well and truly there for the area. I particularly hated that there was no insde lock, chain, or door bolt. That the sliding doir blinds would flap all night with air-conditioning directly above it and Tv position wouldnt allow comfortable viewing in any position in the room. Like i said everything was 5 out of 10. I would say the afterhours service when power failed in room was great 30minutes to correct was good.

The room appeared unfinished for a waterfront deluxe. No bedside tables or other furniture excerpted 2x outdoor chairs - had to ask for blankets and doona - flat pillows

The budget room was built in the 1970s & only the toilet & tv have been renewed. The air con did not work & ceiling fan switch was broken.

The room was good but the fuse blew and couldn't be fixed so I was moved to another room. The wiring in that room was wrong so that the fan didn't work, so I was moved to another room. That room was good. They refunded one day of the fee to cover the inconvenience. Overall a good place to stay, although I had some issues.

Cheap, convenient and central for 1 night stay when everything else is booked, Room was clean but the air-conditioning, TV and fridge were not working. Looks like it is hosted by young back packers and Saturday nights are a bit rowdy....

Reception was closed for lunch without a time when they would return (which was 2pm), then a further wait for her to check the room. Drinking glasses were dirty (lipstick marks), the wifi password was not given and when asked, I was told that the sign was "definitely in the room" - which it wasnt. Police banged on our door at 11pm to ask about a disturbance downstairs.

PERFECT LOCATION ON THE STRAND. STUDIO APARTMENT WAS VERY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT WE GOT. CUTLERY AND CROCKERY WAS INSUFFICIENT FOR TWO PEOPLE. MICROWAVE NEXT TO THE SINK, VERY UNSAFE. BINS HAD NOT BEEN EMPTIED FROM PREVIOUS TENANTS. NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO USE MICROWAVE AND TV. WE WERE DESPERATE WITH ONLY TWO PROPERTIES AVAILABLE ON DAYS WE NEEDED.
