Nice place, needs a little work

Hotel was overall very nice. Room was comfortable & the view was lovely. Pool & hot tub areas are showing age & need tile repairs. Front desk said they would text when our room was ready, but didn’t. Couldn’t find a menu for the Niijii Restaurant on site, which had a Date Night dinner package. Had to go down to the restaurant to ask. Shuttle to/from their casino was handy & drivers were friendly.

We arrived earlier than check in. The front desk people told me and another family member (we had two rooms booked under different names) that they would notify us when the rooms became available. They never did text us even though our rooms were ready. The male front desk reception was not very friendly overall, just seemed short and didn't provide any information about amenities, shuttles etc, where the other front desk ladies did provide it to my family member. The deck with the hot tubs is severally warped, one of the hot tubs would not turn on bubbles. Cleanliness was questionable. Mold growing in the internal hot tub tile grout. Definitely needs attention.

Overall was excellent. Unfortunately, the fitted sheet smelled unwashed, and as soon as I removed the comforter, the odor was noticeable along with crumbs of food on it. There were also ants in the room. I requested new sheets, and housekeeping arrived within minutes.
