#1 I was led to believe it would be easy to drop luggage off and have someone from hotel to pick up the car - it was a nightmare finding a place to double park to drop luggage off. I circled at least 8 times and there were so many busses on both sides and others doubled parked so no room for me. Every time I tried a bus or truck would come barreling behind me with a bus next to me. I finally double parked on other side to try to get help from hotel and a bus driver was so angry because I accidentally blocked his turnout. So - I circled more. Then at other times it looked easy but I had a horrible horrible experience and first impressions can not be changed easily. #2 I hated my room looking over the bus stop - Yes, I could hear the busses too. I felt because I was a hotels.com user - I was given that room instead of one that was not on top of the busses. #3 Guests should be told you can NOT regulate heat in the room at check-in. It took me 2 visits to desk to understand that because the control in the room looked like I should be able to with the plus/minus on it. It was 26.2 C degrees in room and I thought I could turn down the control. I was told to open window - I couldn't do that because the noise from the busses and traffic was terrible. This hotel really ruined my trip to Trieste. I always try to use smaller, more boutique hotels and not large chains and this was a bad mistake.
