Exactly what we needed.
The hostess was very responsive with communication. The location is perfect, right across from the train station. It is safe and convenient, and within walking distance to so many places to see and places to eat. It is on the fourth floor with no elevator, so something to consider.

Udine stopover
First note: it is four stories up and no elevator so if you have heavy bags, be alert. That said: the young woman on the desk could not have been more helpful or more friendly and graciously helped us with our luggage. Basically the "hotel" is a series of rooms carved into half a floor. The rooms are very small but everything is beautifully maintained, clean, and light. Breakfast is simple but basically everything one needs. Location is a little rugged––the train station in Udine is not terribly salubrious.

Just like the name, it's a good place to stop and.
This is a convenient, affordable hotel for a night or two, right across from the train station. The hostess was waiting for us and had turned on air conditioning, as it was quite hot. She also made a great dinner reservation for us. Clean and quiet on the fifth floor. Only disappointment was breakfast.
