Wonderful stay in Umbria

We had a lovely stay at Daniela’s property in Umbria. The house was clean and very well maintained, with a great private pool and garden. It was a quiet and secluded spot, with an amazing view. Communication with the host was easy and we felt very welcome at the property. Would highly recommend.

Monte Corona Cottage

Dream retreat

We spend a week i early july at this beautiful property, two adults and two children. The house is the perfect size for a small family and actually even more beautiful than on the pictures! The location is great- calm and quiet yet close to town and to fantastic Perugia. Our special tip is talking a walk up the Mattonata to the Eremitage (we ran up once every day before dinner)! All in all a dream-place that we’d definitely come back to! Special thanks to Laura and her family for the warm welcome and to Adriano for service, help and kindness- in spite of our terrible Italian :-)

A lovely place

I and my husband spent a week at the Montecorona holiday home and we simply loved it! The place is just as nice as on the pictures. The old stone house has got character, but we also enjoyed the facilities of a high standard (newly decorated) bathroom. Mosquito-nets allowed us to keep windows open at all times (although mosquitos were not a big problem during our stay). The outdoor facilities are lovely and we enjoyed the privacy of the property. We spent most of our week just relaxing on site; eating outdoors enjoying the lovely views, having barbeques and relaxing by the pool (a big "tent" provides shade when needed). The hosts are lovely people. This was our honeymoon and we were greeted with sweet decorations, chocolate and champagne. We appreciated that:-). We hope to come back one day!

Beautiful location and lovely house

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the house. It is beautifully located on top of the hill and had everything we needed to relax. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and well equipped. The pool and cabana were perfect for enjoying the views and weather. The property is well located to visit the sites of Umbria - we also drive to Florence one day which was under 2 hours, so can trace resound central Italy easily.

Rigtig dejligt hus med skøn udsigt over Umbertide. Vi var rigtig glade for den dejlige swimming pool, samt at der var insektnet for vinduerne i alle rum. Rustikt indrettet men pænt vedligeholdt. Kommunikationen med Laura og Daniela var fortrinlig. Vi kommer meget gerne igen en anden gang ;-)

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub. Das kleine Cottage ist in jeder Hinsicht einzigartig. Lage und Aussicht sind der Wahnsinn. Das absolute Highlight ist der Pool. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat immer gut geklappt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ein toller Urlaub!

Wir haben drei wunderbare Wochen in diesem idyllischen, abgelegenen Haus, einem ehemaligen Gebetshaus der Eremiten, verbringen dürfen. Und genau das haben wir gesucht. Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit, atemberaubenden Ausblick, ein tolles Haus und wunderbare Gastgeber! An dieser Stelle noch einmal ganz lieben Dank an Laura, Adriano und Daniela. Ihr ward immer für uns da und hattet auch die eine oder anderen „insider“-Vorschläge. :- ) Das Haus mit seinem mittelalterlichen Flair ist urig, die Küche und Bad bieten allen Comfort, den man benötigt. Das Internet war sowohl im Haus als auch am Pool sehr gut. Der Garten und der Pool sind einfach toll. Der Pool bietet neben Abkühlung bei über 30 Grad eine wunderbare Aussicht in die Landschaft und dem kleinen Städtchen Umbertide, wo man in verschiedenen Supermärkten alles für den täglichen Bedarf bekommt (ca.10-15min Fahrt mit dem Auto, dank der vielen Serpentinen ;-) Tolle Restaurant, Bars findet man dort ebenfalls, mit fairen Preisen! Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio…alles sehr gut erreichbar innerhalb einer guten Stunde. Einen Trip nach San Marino lohnt ebenfalls, die Fahrt dorthin beträgt allerdings knapp 2-2,5 Stunden. Aber wenn man nicht nur Schnellstraße bzw. Autobahn fährt, kommt man durch viele kleine niedliche Städtchen und Dörfchen. Fazit: Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen sicherlich wieder :- )

Wunderschönes Haus in Umbrien

Wie haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist ein einzigartiges Objekt und bietet sehr viel Ruhe. Der Pool hat die perfekte Größe und die Kinder konnten die heißen Tage ausgiebig im Wasser spielen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist auch sehr gut für unsere Zwecke. Vom Haus selbst aus kann man, wenn man möchte auch ein paar kleinere Wandertouren z.b. zu deinem nahen Kloster starten. Die Besitzer des Hauses haben uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen.

Traum für Ruhe Suchende

Wir, 2 Erwachsene mit 13-jährigem Sohn, haben 14 Tage in einem wunderschönen großen Anwesen voll und ganz genossen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden trotz der bereits positiven Bewertungen weit übertroffen. Das Haus in den Bergen Umbertides ist sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist groß und komplett ausgestattet mit Backofen, Induktionsherd und einem großem praktischen Küchentisch. Der Wohnbereich ist großzügig bemessen mit TV, die Schlafzimmer unterm Dach sind praktisch und sehr sauber eingerichtet. Alle Fenster sind mit höherwertigen leicht zu öffnenden Fliegenjalousien versehen. Das Bad ist relativ neu und von der Größe mehr als ausreichend. Sehr gut funktionierendes WLan gibt es sowohl im Haus als auch bis unten an den tollen, großen Pool. Rund um das Haus gibt es viele Möglichkeiten des Sitzens, Liegens und Entspannens. Der Blick aus den Schlafzimmern und dem Pool auf die Berge ist ein Traum. Die Gastgeber sind sehr,sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir hoffen, dass wir hier bald nochmals Urlaub machen können.

Mooi huis, heerlijk zwembad, prachtige locatie.

Wij hebben een hele aangename week gehad in het huis van Daniela en haar familie. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt op een vakantie, de wifi is prima, maar vooral het uitzicht en het zwembad zijn geweldig. De communicatie met Daniela en haar familie verliep soepel, afspraken werden punctueel nagekomen.

Wunderbare Zeit

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderbare Wochen zu viert in Umbertide. Die Gastgeber Daniela, Laura und Adriano waren ganz wunderbar. Wir haben uns sehr über die frischen Tomaten aus dem eigenen Garten gefreut. Das Haus liegt unweit der Stadt auf einem kleinen Berg gelegen und hat dadurch eine wunderbare Aussicht. Durch die Abgeschiedenheit ist es wunderbar geeignet um Ruhe zu finden und zu entspannen. Perugia oder Assisi sind ganz in der Nähe. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alle notwendigen Einrichtungsgegenstände. Es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Das Haus verfügt sogar über zwei separate Wlan-Netze für Innen und Außen, so dass man sogar am Pool perfekten Empfang hat. Klasse Idee. Mit dem schönen Pool und der Terrasse, stand dem Aufenthalt im Freien nichts im Wege. Beste Grüße an Laura, Daniela und Adriano.
