Presenting Townie 1 - The Ivy, part of the unique Townie Cottages collection. This newly built lakeside luxury home was designed exclusively by Kate Marker Interiors (recognized by Architectural Digest and Luxe Home). Located in Union Pier, these exquisite cottages blend rustic charm and modern elegance for an unforgettable stay. Immerse yourself in a meticulously curated interior with high-end finishes and chic furnishings, creating a sophisticated yet homey atmosphere.
From open-concept living spaces filled with natural light to cozy bedrooms that serve as serene retreats, each element has been thoughtfully designed to elevate your experience. Enjoy the convenience of modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and a dishwasher, all perfectly balanced by timeless accents like shiplap walls, gas log fireplaces, and vintage artifacts.
THE SPACE
While The Townie Cottages are a community development of 4 cottages, each unit is its own separate building and private space. Upon entering The Ivy 1, guests will find that this 1 bedroom/1 bath residence has a welcoming open floor plan, showcasing the exquisite palette of Kate Markerâs furnishings, which provide the utmost in cottage luxury. The living area has a full sleeper sofa with additional side chairs that face the gas log fireplace. Directly behind the living area is the kitchen, featuring a large island with seating. The entire length of the cottage is dedicated to the Primary Suite, richly adorned with a king-size bed. As you walk through to the ensuite bathroom, you'll find a stack washer/dryer in the closet. The primary bathroom has a large soaking tub, walk-in shower, double vanity sinks, and a separate water closet.
Guests will have their own private outdoor space with a deck/patio area. This outdoor living space includes a Fuego grill and dining set and wraps around to the unit's private hot tub, outdoor shower, and parking/charging space for a rented golf cart. Additionally, each unit has 2 parking spaces located at the front of the development.
This cottage is part of the Townie Cottages Resort, a private community of 4 separate homes that share a 20' x 40' inground pool, a communal fire pit, and have easy access to the serene beaches of Lake Michigan. Combined, the community can accommodate 22 guests. Please see Juniper Holiday + Home's Townie Cottages listing if you are interested in renting the entire resort. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, Townie Cottages Resort is your sanctuary for creating lasting memories.
WHAT'S NEARBY:
Access to the beach is just a short trip away. The area is known for its mom-and-pop bakeries, destination design stores, woodsy gravel roads, and pristine Lake Michigan beach access. There are plenty of biking paths, vineyards, and distilleries within a short distance that draw families and couples throughout the Midwest.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.
The minimum age to rent this home is 25.
The pool is seasonal and will be open from Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day. Specific Open and closure dates are scheduled by the local pool vendor.
Pets are not allowed at this property.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
