With breathtaking views of Vail Mountain, this beautifully remodeled condo offers the ultimate mountain retreat. Located just a short walk across the pedestrian bridge to the Lionshead Eagle Bahn Gondola, ski lifts, and all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment in Lionshead Village, it’s perfectly positioned for both convenience and relaxation. A chef’s delight, the platinum-level kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances and elegant finishes, making it a pleasure to prepare meals. The open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen create a spacious, inviting great room where everyone can gather and unwind after a day on the mountain. Cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace and take in the stunning views of the Vail Mountain ski area. Sun Vail offers great year-round amenities, including a large outdoor swimming pool, a redwood sauna, and outdoor hot tubs—ideal for relaxation after an active day in the mountains.

During the month of September, all Sun Vail buildings will be undergoing exterior painting. Work will take place 7 days a week throughout the month.
Please be aware that there will be ladders, painting crews, and ongoing painting activity around the property. We kindly ask that you use caution when moving around the premises.

I agree with all the other reviews - condo looks like pictures and check in / out process was easy. The unit is very outdated and beds were very uncomfortable. Location is across the highway from town and there is a bridge close by to walk across but not convenient for night time or when it is winter months and very cold. No elevator was very tough with this being on the 3rd floor - very exhausting carry bags up the stairs in the altitude. The shades in living area are all ripped or broken and the sun comes in and is kind of harsh in the morning. Wouldnt stay here again but it was okay for what we needed.

Great location

Place was as advertised. The walk to Lionshead is about 10 minutes. If skiing, rent skis in town so you don't have to drag them around and walk in ski boots. The place is a bit dated but in line with other reviews. The stairs are a workout, especially when you're not used to the altitude! Master closet door in need of repair and kitchen supplies can use improvement - (need a good non-stick pan!). But those were all minor things, place met our needs and vail is amazing. And when we had an issue on departure, the management co. was responsive and did a great job.

Fantastic location

Excellent location, short walk into Lionshead, clean and well maintained. Perfect for a small family. One piece of constructive criticism, only 1 of the humidifiers worked, this was a huge issue given we were there for a week, there should be a minimum of 1 in each room and of a standard to run multiple hours. The dry air is very harsh on young kids.

Great place to stay; walking distance to Lionshead

Overall a great place to stay. We could easily walk across the pedestrian bridge into Lionshead and be there in a matter of minutes, which made it nice for our teenagers to come and go when they wanted to explore a bit. The condo worked well for us. It was a bit more dated than the pics reflect, so at first I was underwhelmed when I walked in, but as we stayed throughout the week I really warmed up to the place and found it to be a great place for us. It's on the 3rd floor (top floor), so it was quiet with no one walking above, however those stairs can take it out of you with the altitude. There were plenty of toiletries, shampoo, soap, etc., which is always nice. Plenty of towels, and the washer/dryer made it nice and easy to keep fresh towels on hand for our family of 5. Easy access to the hot tubs and heated pool. Very comfortable place. Also, I read some reviews where people complained of running out of hot water too fast each day. Because of that I told everyone to limit their showers to 5-10 minutes. Whether they fixed the hot water problem or our quick showers did the trick, we never ran out of hot water. Easy check-in, and easy check-out. I give this place a thumbs up and would have no problem staying here again.

Older than it looks.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights. The apartment is on a third floor without elevator, and across the road from the town. The ski lift is in fact 10 min walking distance from the apartment as advertised, but the stairs and bridge make it a little more complicated when carrying ski gear, suitcases, etc. It was a work-out. The decor is old, the dining room chairs are incredibly heavy and can cause accidents when moving around, and the beds weren’t too comfy. Luckily it was only 4 of us staying there, although the house has 3 bedrooms and is advertised for 6, because the hot water would fully run out after the first person showered, and we would have to wait 40 min until the next person could get hot water again. Lastly the biggest issue we had is that the dishwater didn’t clean the plates at all, and all the plates in the cupboards were dirty for this reason. We had to re-wash everything to be able to use them. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything to make your stay great, but it’s all a little old- which would have been fine if it all worked. When I spoke to the management company the last day to discuss check out, I mentioned these issues so that they could be addressed before the next tenant. He was strangely rude, making it seem that it had been my fault for not notifying them earlier so they could fix them. The reality is that we were barely there, and would get home tired after skiing so we just lived with it. All and all, we had a good stay, but for the amount of money, we were expecting a better place.

The seamless process of check-in and check-out made the experience enjoyable. The property was located nicely in the heart of the resort....easy walk to the Village made it very convenient.

Summer in Vail

The property was spacious and comfortable. Location was close to the pedestrian walkway to Lionshead Village but the freeway noice was LOUD with windows open. The pictures make it look a lot nicer. The unit needs a paint job. Also found the kitchen in need of basic supplies. Beds were very comfortable. When the blow dryer broke, I made a call to the management company and they replaced them the next morning. Very prompt.

Not welling to credit

We tried to cancel our reservations due to the Coronavirus but was told we could not. Said you can take it up with your insurance which insurance said virus is not covered. Property management said as far as they are concerned our reservations are confirmed. The day we arrived at the condo, Governor of Colorado closed all the ski slopes so we checked out the next morning. We had rented the condo for 3 days but only used 1 with no credit provided for 2 nights.

great location but lacking in some finishing touches

the location is awesome - right across the resort. But the apartment itself was slightly lacking, no extra trash bag, paper towels or dishwashing soap and no hangers in the rooms. Lights in the bathroom also could not be switch off, one kitchen in the kitchen was blown and remained unfixed for 6 days, and 2 out of 4 stoves were not functioning. These were fixed/replenished after 1-2 days after communicating with the mgmt but overall these could have been better from the start. Check in with smooth and simple though and overall we would consider staying again.

Beautiful, roomy Vail condo

We would definitely recommend this condo. It was very clean, well-stocked and cozy (with plenty of space for all five of us). The view from the main room was amazing, and the fireplace was an added bonus. We would definitely return!

Nice place. Great location and view. Close to swimming pool and hot tubs. A short walk across interstate using a pedestrian bridge to reach the village. There is considerable road noise from the interstate when the patio door is open but otherwise quiet.
