Way too isolated.

Cons: Nothing close
It sure would have been nice to now that the hotel was in the middle of nowhere and not close or within walking distance of any amenities. When i was looking to book it would have been nice to get an outline map, like we did when i was booking Portland last year of the various areas. I would have booked in Vancouver but there was no indication of what constitued the downtown area and i didn't want to end up in a grungy area.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking out time to review us. We are pleased that you enjoyed our hotel and the location. To avoid long wait during breakfast hours we do have our external banquet hall with additional seating arrangement opened up for our guest. I apologize if it was not available during your visit. We do take all feedback in to consideration and will have our breakfast manager look into this matter too. I hope you will give us another chance so that you may see the difference. Looking forward to your next visit. Wish you a good day. Regards Taslim Arif Guest Service Manager

Wonderful Winter Weekend!

Pros: Location, Location, Location! ;-)
Cons: N/A
Location: There was a cinema complex right next door (within walking distance) showing the latest releases, two IMAX theaters within, and also restaurants.
My Christmas weekend spent at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Riverport Richmond was exceptional. The staff were uber friendly and accommodating. he continental breakfast were on point, and the amenities were excellent.

Family Stays Successfully Here!

Pros: Modernness, breakfast, extra high ceilings.
Cons: We had someone above us jumping on the floor for hours. Hotel could use extra space to put into an insulated, false ceiling for soundproofing.
Location: It was some distance out of Vancouver, in a remote corner of the island that is Richmond. There was convenient access to Highway 99.
We wanted to have accommodations for a family of five. This place worked fine, with no difficulties! It was the most modern place I've ever seen, equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave, dishes and silverware, two TVs, two rooms, fine breakfast with convenient hours. Be warned that local road signs are confusing and it's hard to find your way back from Vancouver--stay on Highway 99, don't follow alternate ways back to Richmond--know that this hotel is off Southarm, also known as Steveston Highway--look for this exit from Highway 99. Also know that the hotel has two breakfast rooms--check both, to get different foods. When we returned to the hotel late at night, there was no parking space and we had to park at the adjacent mall. Also, it's not clear where you are supposed to enter when first arriving--poor signage--be careful--there are no signs from the road and no signs where to register--we entered via the shopping mall and then pulled into a tight, full lot at first, had an awkward turnaround before seeking that first place to park and register.

Breakfast looked great till I started eating the hard boiled eggs were very hard boiled like they were cooked way to long and then I went to the pancake machine and made a very flat pancake they I had trouble cutting so I gave up on that I have had pancakes from other machines that were great lite and fluffy so maybe this machine needs attention. OJ was great. Room was great nice and quiet very clean

This hotel is in the most bizarre location.

Pros: There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning. Standard stuff.
We were looking for a hotel near the BC ferry so that we could head out early to Vancouver island. The hotel is down a long lonely road of farms and houses, but in a strip mall esque complex. There is an ice rink, IMAX movie theater and a few not-so-good restaurants. The actual hotel is fine, it's clean, the staff was pleasant, the beds are comfortable. However, if you are hungry there is no quality food nearby. It is only 20 minutes from the Twassassen Ferry terminal.

Good quiet base to explore Vancouver area

Pros: Proximity to highways, breakfast and parking included, nice size room for families
Cons: Breakfast options nice, but processed foods. Add some cut fruit, better quality eggs.
Location: Steveson Village in Richmond, Vancouver, Capilano Suspension Bridge under 60 minute drive
Stayed for 4 nights while visiting the area. Overall very pleased. Good location, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, which is what we were looking for. Little traffic to Steveson Village, able to get to Vancouver, Capilano, and Whistler without much trouble. Parking and breakfast included, which was nice. Breakfast was just OK - filling for our teenage boys, but somewhat limited overall and processed. Staff not particularly helpful - front desk nice, but didn't have answer for airport questions, room cleaning people seemed upset that we didn't leave our room early enough, breakfast servers seemed stressed. Even through Travelocity, a little more expensive than I thought it should be. But these aren't terrible. Room size (suite), convenience make it a good location for families traveling to the area looking to visit multiple places. Would stay again.
