Sunset Beach Retreat – Pool, Private Fenced Yard, Near Beach, Small Pet Friendly


This coastal Venice home features a heated, screened pool and covered lanai in a prime location—just minutes from Gulf beaches and about 18 miles from Siesta Key. A very short walk to Shamrock Park, with scenic trails and a bike path along the Intracoastal Waterway that connects to downtown Venice Island and the Legacy Trail.

The Space:
Sleeps 6 comfortably across three bedrooms, including a king master with a private bath. Both bathrooms are updated and fully stocked. Enjoy a spacious living room with a 65” TV, fast WiFi, and streaming. The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, an RO water system, ice maker, and ample indoor and outdoor dining space.

Outdoor Living:
Relax in the screened lanai with dining for 6, gas grill, and a private fenced backyard with a heated pool. Pool heat is set to 83°F; an unlimited heat option is available for an additional fee. During rare cold spells (overnight temps below 45°F), pool temperatures may not reach 80°F.

Amenities:
Laundry room, beach gear (chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie boards), Bluetooth speaker, and kid-friendly features like pool alarms and outlet covers. Pack ’n play crib available upon request. RV/boat parking available, with optional 30A hookup (additional fee). Starter supplies are provided; longer stays may require restocking at guests’ expense.

Rules:
-Guests must review and follow all safety, house rules and pool rules published in the guidebook found on the living room table and those posted throughout the home.
-Violations may result in charges against the security deposit or termination of the rental without refund
-No smoking or vaping indoors ($300 cleaning fee)
-Quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM; repeated violations incur a $300 fee to termination of rental
-No large parties; please respect neighbors and keep noise at reasonable levels at all hours.
-Please treat the home with respect and promptly report any damages or signs of wear so they can be addressed quickly

-Dog-friendly: up to 2 small dogs ($125 cleaning fee); pets must be disclosed at booking
-Guests must vacate in the event of a named hurricane; a refund for unused nights will be provided
-There are 3 security cameras on the property, one at the front entrance, one at the side entrance and one to monitor pool equipment. There are no interior cameras and no cameras in the sunbathing/pool/lanai area.

Our stay was nothin short of amazing! The house was perfect! Simple yet had EVERYTHING you would need even down to the little things! The house felt like home away from home! The beds were VERY comfortable! The couch comfy and cozy and perfect to lounge and cuddle on after a long day on beach. The location was ideal! Close to all of our favorite beaches and shamrock park was awesome to go for a walk, run, visit the park and play some tennis with the kids.

We had a lovely stay at this clean, comfortable, well-decorated house, which is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The well-equipped kitchen had everything needed to prepare full meals, and the host was generous with supplies for kitchen, laundry, bath, and fun, including beach chairs, pool floaties, and even shark teeth sifters. The home is within walking distance of Shamrock Nature Center, a great place for walking. The host was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful! Mike and his wife have done a super job in making things so clean, modern and inviting. Our kids and grandkids stayed for the weekend in the middle of the trip, they loved the the pool. I was so greatful for the extra security of a alarm on the doors to protect the little ones.Mike was prompt in fixing the one issue we had. We hope we can visit again next year:)

Great stay! They were very accommodating. House was very clean. The towels all seemed new. Great amenities. Only drawback was the pool is only heated in winter months. We stayed in October, so the kids didn’t hesitate to get in pool, but it would have been nice to take the edge of with the help of the heater. Loved the pool! The kitchen was beautiful and wonderfully stocked. Very close to beach and delicious restaurants. Owners very quick to respond. Will check for availability at this location on our next trip. Thank you for making our ‘second honeymoon’ a memorable holiday!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cutest house in Venice! Felt like the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The house was very updated, super clean and we honestly felt at home right away. The pool and backyard area were the icing on the cake - we spent so much time relaxing in the water and enjoying the cozy outdoor space. 10/10 would recommend staying here! We definitely plan to book here again for a future getaway.
