Our stay was really lovely. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and main town. Everything in the hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good to have before we set off in the mornings. It was our second visit to this hotel and we really like it.

Terrible mold issues in our room. Woke up feeling Ill and noticed a ton of mold in the bathroom. Even more disturbing is the staff did not provide any discount on that night or let us out of reservation for the next night. We were traveling with our young daughters and there was no way we could stay there again. Staff was flippant and not helpful. A travelers nightmare. Stay far away.

The room we had was on the second floor. Extremely old fashioned including the bathroom which was worn and rusty in places. It was fairly clean, although I did find hairs on the shampoo dispenser..yuck! The only benefit in the bathroom was the bath, which after several days of city walking was welcomed. The bed was comfortable enough, but the room was hot and we couldn’t seem to adjust the aircon even though there was a temperature gauge. Breakfast was nice enough, fresh fruit, hot options etc etc. we were able to leave our luggage when we arrived early. I’m surprised the previous reviews have been so good, but maybe we had an un refurbished room?

An otherwise fine stay, lovely and accommodating staff however we did not have any hot water at all in the morning and loud street noise at 4:30am woke us. Make sure there’s hot water upon check-in.

This hotel was close to the main train station and a 10/15 min walk to Piazza Bra where the Arena is situated. The hotel staff were pleasant but would suggest the hotel bedrooms are in need of an upgrade, particularly the bathrooms which are very outdated. The hotel should also be thinking about renewing the bathroom towels which were thin although clean!
