Great affordable getaway.
Staff is amazing and so friendly, and the property is pristine. Beds are comfy and the air conditioning works great (at least in Room 7 where I was). Pool and beach are both within a 1 minute walk. Entertainment at the pool/restaurant area on the weekends is really nice.
Wifi works great at the pool and even reaches as far as the beach, but can be a little spotty in the rooms.
Very easy to grab a bus/taxi on the main road.
The restaurant/bar IS quite pricey but there are a few less expensive options down the beach. (I am vegan and there wasn't a huge amount of affordable vegan options, sadly.)
There aren't fridges in the rooms (at least not in mine) which was a bit of a drag for me, as I planned on doing a grocery shop to buy myself vegan options.
One small thing to be mindful of - maybe it was the time of year, but there were crickets or birds that were constantly chirping/humming around the property in the evenings. I never saw them, but I heard them constantly. Some may find this relaxing/comforting, some may find it annoying.
Taxi to and from the airport costs around 60-70 XCD per way, which is not bad at all - however if you are adventurous enough, you CAN take the bus for 2.50 XCD, you'd just have to walk to the road.
But in terms of value for the price - this is one of the absolute best. It checks all the boxes you NEED. Cleanliness, safety, and location. The other things are minor details.
Would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone.
