The perfect stay

We loved our stay at this property. Even thought there is not much to do in Maalea, it is very central as we drove everyday in different directions! Very clean and quiet. Lots of room for 4 people.

Kanai A Nalu was perfect! It was exactly as described, the view was gorgeous, and it was immaculate. Having never been to Maui before, I was unsure of the location, but it turned out to be ideal. We were very centrally located so all of our activities were a short drive. We were within walking distance of Ma’alaea Harbor and the beach. The grounds and common areas are kept beautifully. We will make a point to stay here when we return!

Bucket List Vacation

The condo was in a great location! Close to the harbor where we went on two boat tours and within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Stores & restaurants all within a 15 minute drive. We only used the pool once but it was refreshing after our walk on the beach. We really enjoyed the lanai and watched whales the one morning with our binoculars. The condo itself was nice but we did have some issues. The front door was REALLY hard to get open every time we tried to unlock it. You had to mess with the knob & key til it worked. The floor was dirty from day one and made our feet black when walking barefoot. We bought swiffer pads & cleaner so we could mop them up each day. The tv in the bedroom never worked. Contacted the owner but no reply. A/C was a little wall unit in the corner of the living room on the floor. It was on a 4 hr max timer but with the lanai screen open and the front door, we had a nice breeze the whole time. The sliding door to the closet in the 2nd bedroom was cracked and very hard to move. Does not have a keurig coffee pot. Was told it broke before we got there and replaced with a regular pot. Overall, it worked for what we needed it for. Was disappointed that our texts to the owner were not answered.

Incredible property!

Great peaceful location

If you’re looking for a quiet slice of paradise, this is it. Conveniently located, but isolated from the hustle and bustle of the congested tourist areas. A short walk to the beach, a lovely pool and grilling area. The grounds and building are well maintained.

Nice spot on the beach!

Great location with beach access. Place was clean and check-in/out was easy. The condo is very central to most parts of Maui. I'd stay here again, if the opportunity was there. A few things to consider if you are sensitive to noise: The Ma'alaea area can get pretty windy. You will hear planes occasionally flying into Kahului.

Wonderful 2 week stay

We visited Maui during the horrible wildfires that caused much destruction and loss of life in the beautiful island of Maui. God bless all those who were affected. Fortunately for us , we were safe and sound at this condo. Grounds were clean, quiet and well maintained. Beach is clean and walkable. Clear calm water most days. Great pool that was never over crowded. Location is perfect. 15-20 minute drive to airport, Costco, Walmart, Safeway and Target. Close drive to the town of Kiheh where you can find more great beaches, shave ice, sushi, etc. Condo was very comfortable for a family of 4. Lots of dishes, pots and pans and kitchen basics like coffee, spices and all the cleaning supplies you may need. Beds were comfortable and we left our windows open to hear the comforting sounds of the ocean as we slept. Showers were great. We always left the lanai screen open and never felt the need to open the AC. Amazing view from our lanai. Loved spending time watching the sunrise and the stars at night. We really enjoyed our stay! We would recommend highly. DLG

Property is great for aweek stay on Maui. Centrally located so each day youcan go in a different direction. For a longer term stay I'd recommend Kihie or Lahaina, because restaurants abd stires are closer.

The location of this condo is wonderful. We could see many whales right from the balcony. The grounds are kept immaculate with daily gardeners. We liked that this condo had two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a washer/dryer and was stocked well with kitchen items, plenty of towels, paper towels, napkins, and spices. Our only criticism is that the pillows were needing to be replaced because they were quite stained under the pillow cases, there were knobs missing off of the light/fan switches and off of the toaster. And the outlets were loose so plugs would not stay in them. It felt a little like a college apartment but with an amazing view. We were asked to wash sheets and towels before we left, with a checkout time of 10am. That was really the only thing that kind of stressed us out to wake up early enough to do all of that before we had to leave, while also getting ourselves packed up.

Wonderful!

This is a great condo for up to 4 people. The kitchen is amazingly stocked with spices, every pot and pan you could imagine, serving platters, coffee pot that uses keurig pods and can also use ground beans and fill the 13 cup pot! Toaster, waffle makers, blender, cutting boards, ....everything you could ever need. There are oodles of beach goodies - some sorkle equipment, 2 beach chairs, pool noodles, a.coolerand a few boogie boards! With the breeze coming through we almost never had to use the A/C. Only once, we turned it on. The view is amazing and we've already seen whales in the cove! The cleaning staff work so hard to keep the grounds clean and enjoyable. Sooo much walking beach, just out the door. I honestly have nothing bad to say. This was a wonderful stay that we will do next year when we come back! Mahalo for allowing us to use your gorgeous condo!

Awesome stay

It was an awesome stay, for the price. Some minor issues were not immediately addressed and there was currently no direct beach access. Apparently, the sun doesn't set where it could be seen, at least during the time we stayed. However, I enjoyed the sun rise over the mountains, the breeze coming thru the unit was refreshing during the day. It was a great place to go back to at the end of days full of outings. Thanks for the supplies and equipment.

Beautiful view and convenient location

My family and I had a great time and we’re extremely happy with the property and the location. We were immediately blown away by how accurate the pictures were but pictures don’t do it justice. The view of the ocean out the slider was awesome and the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. Would gladly stay there again if given the opportunity.

Beautiful views and more

The property is beautiful! The views of the ocean can’t get any better. There were 3 of us staying and they was more than enough room in the extremely clean and well equipped unit. All the towels, 2 smaller coolers, umbrellas, 1 chair, several pairs of water shoes.. the list goes on for beach equipment you could need. There wasn’t anything we were in need of. The elevator is right next to the entrance of the condo which was convenient and you didn’t hear any noise. You can walk to the beach park just a few minutes away which was beautiful. There wasn’t direct beach access, but we climbed down the sandbags anyways (shh..). The pool and bbq area were maintenance every morning and never over crowded. The location is a great central location to access all of the island. 20-40 min depending on the time of day to Lahaina and Kaanapali and no more than 20 minutes to Kihei. If you need any last minute groceries etc, there isn’t a spot for that nearby. But in the aquarium shopping center there are places to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and an all day happy hour. It’s about a 15 minute walk and a few min drive. Overall the unit and and location were great for our beautiful Maui vacation! We will recommend to friends and family!
