Oceanfront Home with Sandy Beach Right Out Your Door! Dog Friendly!

The Ocean Blue is a large 2 story home that literally sits right on a sandy beach facing the deep blue sea. Located in the Bayshore community on the beach in Waldport, this home's backyard is the Pacific Ocean!

With 4 large bedrooms (all with queen beds) and additional sleeping available in the game room, this home sleeps 6 people and is perfect for vacations with family and friends. There are also 3 bathrooms, and a large game room with a ping pong table. The lovely open kitchen, dining room, and living room area looks out over the ocean for a view that can't be beat. This home has lots of windows to let the sunshine in, or to watch Oregon's dramatic storms on rainy days. The home is both comfortable and spacious: it has two TVs with cable, free WiFi and all the necessary bedding, towels, and kitchenware that you might need. If you enjoy watching the waves roll in, or star gazing over the ocean, this home is perfect! You can step out the door, sit on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea. Or, if you're more adventurous, go into town, digging for clams, fly a kite, or catch crab in the Alsea Bay. This beautiful, beachfront home in the sand has something for everyone to enjoy!

Guests of this home also have access to the Bayshore swimming pool on a daily fee basis. The swimming pool (open seasonally in the summer) schedule of swim times will be posted at pool entrance. Renters must provide their rental agreement and photo identification to gain access. Access may be restricted during busy times.

Sleeps up to 6 - 4 Bedrooms, 4 Queen, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, 3 baths.
Vehicles: Licensed for 4 (strictly enforced) No boats, trailers or RV's per HOA rules.
Standard: 3 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

This was a great place with easy beach access and plenty of ocean view. The house was immaculate with lots of room and comfortable seating facing the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more for preparing multi-dish meals. The beds were comfortable with plenty of good quality pillows and covers and the game room was a plus.

This home is perfectly located in central Oregon on the coast! We could not have been happier about the location. WARNING the driveway is up a steep hill but you can park in the garage on level ground which was nice to unload a wheelchair and my parents! I had originally looked for a 1 story home so my mother-in-law had easy walking access in the home while using her oxygen machine. It was two stories. We had a tough time getting her upstairs where 2/4 bedrooms were located on either side of the living and kitchen areas. But she made it up! She couldn’t use the tub since it really isn’t built for a senior citizen. No support rails so she needed to skip the lovely jacuzzi tub. We managed but it’s something to consider! The rest of us moved freely about with plenty of room. The bedrooms downstairs were cute and the game room was super fun! Rays grocery store was the place to shop 7 minutes away, Luna Sea best fish and chips, we ate there two nights in a row. Tip order the halibut instead of cod it’s worth it but both are great if you are worried about 4 and same as ordering prawns over the shrimp also just a little extra but the experience,night and day and you are worth it treat yourself! Saw the whales and it was a cherry on top. We did a lot in just a couple of days so to sit on the deck at night with coffee or wine and watch and hear the crashing waves was a treat. My husband and I took evening walks on the beach and played barefoot on the sand and in the waves for sunset

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful and we loved being able to see the ocean even while in the house. Also love that the beach side windows open in the living area, which is not always the case with ocean front homes. It allows a nice breeze on hot summer days and the sound of the ocean.

Ocean Blue was the perfect place to meet with old friends/colleagues with plenty of room for all with room to spare. Two of us were mobility-challenged so found the top floor bedrooms on the main floor most convenient. The WiFi was excellent. Free TV allowed for only limited selection of channels. Would have been better to have had at least major channels. Would have been nice to have had a garbage disposal but was doable. Decorated absolutely lovely with beach memorabilia. Ample linens. Beach access was limited and not accessible for mobility-challenged folks. Beach was barely viewable over the sand dunes but afforded us lovely sunsets nevertheless. Would contemplate returning unless we could find a beach house on one level.

The house was spacious, clean, and the couches were so comfortable. It's quite clear that the owners care about the home and there are nice touches throughout. Absolutely lovely.One issue I had was that the beach pictures are misleading. It makes it seem like there is an easy walk to the shore. Instead, there is a little mini-bluff that is too difficult for my wife to get up/down easily (she has vertigo) and my sister and mom were unable to make it down/up at all.I wish it was more clear that the beach access was not accessible for people with mobility impairments.

Our weekend stay at the beach house in Waldport, Oregon, was delightful. The house offered stunning ocean views that we could enjoy from the spacious deck and cozy living room with comfortable furnishings. We loved the easy beach access, perfect for morning strolls and evening sunsets. The bedrooms were inviting and provided restful sleep with the sound of the waves in the background. Overall, it was a peaceful and refreshing getaway, and we look forward to returning. We just had one small issue with the leaky bathtub upstairs. Hopefully that’ll be fixed for our next trip Waldport and this lovely beach house.

This house right on the beach was fantastic! The beach walk from the house was perfect. Very few people on the beach. Very romantic! The house was very clean, having everything we needed. Great wood burning stove and large screen tv to watch movies late at night! I would highly recommend this place and the property manager.

Very nice property! The beds and linens were very comfortable. I'm especially pleased there was a real coffee maker and grinder instead of a Kuereg. The Netflix already programed on the TV was nice. Also handy to be able to pull right into the garage and access the lower floor. However, the 18 steps to get up to the living area was a surprise. It seemed the last step down off the deck was missing. Enjoyed our week and watching the ocean and walking the empty beach.

This was a great rental. It was clean with more than enough space. There’s a handy tablet on the wall with extra information in addition to area information that we found helpful. If you stay, be sure to bring seasoning and oil as it is only stocked with salt, pepper, and olive oil spray but we didn’t mind. The game room was a great place to hang in the evenings.

Quiet Area

Pictures were accurate; home was bright and open. The house was very clean. My child appreciated the Roku that was hooked up the TV, and all of us were impressed by the amount of board games available. Everyone agreed that all the beds were very comfortable. This home has three master bedrooms, so not having to share a bathroom was extremely nice. There were plenty of towels left in each bathroom. The check-in tablet that Sweet Homes uses was very helpful in providing fast information about checking out; this was the first time a rental I’ve stayed at has a check-in tablet and it was really convenient. I would book this home for a future getaway if I’m able. Thank you!
