Lake Arrowhead Luxury Lakefront Cottage - Massive Dock- Best View on the Lake

Nestled in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains, this newly renovated lakefront cottage boasts some of the best sunset views on the lake. Enjoy world class fishing, relaxing morning kayak rides, or a refreshing dip in the cool clean water of one of Georgia's most pristine stream-fed lakes. This rustic retreat provides a private 1,200 sq foot dock with 1 hot-tub, 2 kayaks, 2 hydrobikes (rides like a bicycle but floats), a full size canoe, optional pontoon boat rental, and a metal firepit for sunset S'more sessions. Inside, you will find a full granite kitchen, stainless steel appliances, and a live-edge black walnut bar-height table. The chic master bedroom overlooks the water, and the cozy upstairs loft provides four semi-private full-size bunks complete with USB charging stations and individual lighting.

BOAT RENTAL:

A 2015 Lowe 20 foot 90HP Mercury pontoon boat is available for rent for experienced boaters. We do have a minimum 3-day rental during peak season, and 2-day minimum rental in the off-season. The rate includes a full tank of gas and you must fill the gas tank when finished. The rate is $375/day or $1,600/week. Please contact Tyler for instructions on how to book. Lake Arrowhead does not allow visitors to bring in their own boats or watercraft of any kind (HOA enforced rule).

Lake Arrowhead Yacht and Country Club is a private, gated community with 24-hour security nestled in the North Georgia Mountains and only 55 minutes from downtown Atlanta. Lake Arrowhead has a beautiful, 18-hole, mountain, golf course open to the public! Enjoy watching the deer roam freely as you play. Water recreation includes fishing, swimming and boating. Lake Arrowhead is the largest, man-made, privately-owned lake in Georgia. The lake is approximately 540 acres, with a water depth of 80 to 100 feet. Fish include bass, bream, and catfish. Hiking trails, play ground, picnic area, tennis and 2 pools are available for your use.

Great weekend getaway

Had a great weekend getaway! Was perfect for two families to hang out and enjoy the lake. The dock was beautiful! For the price wish there were steak knives and a blind in the loft so that it was dark when kids wanted to go to bed early. Love the amenities from the bikes ( wish both were working) to the paddle board and kayaks. Had a blast!

Weekend at the Lake

The home was lovely. It was a perfect fit for our group. The upstairs loft was surprisingly roomy for our teen girls. 4 full size bunks! The water toys were a plus. The hydro bikes were a big hit. The kids spent a few mindless afternoons fishing and splashing. The kids discovered the games and found a few we will be adding to our own collection. Our first visit to the lake and we would definitely rent again! Great location!

Lakefront long weekend

From the reservation to check out, this was a very easy process. Tyler was responsive to every question and the home provided everything we needed. Boat rental was easy although we had kayaks, paddle board and water bikes as part of the property. Definitely hope to return.

Supper cute stay in a hidden gem!

Did not expect to find such a great area to stay at in Georgia. The house is amazing and in a gated community on a lake that was just perfect! It was quite and calming. The owner was extremely nice and made us feel at home! We will definitely be returning!

Spring Break 2021

This cabin was everything that we imagined it to be and we really enjoyed ourselves. This location is a great to get away from the hustle and bustle and helps you slow down and enjoy the outdoors while spending time with family. We love to adventure and took advantage of the communities great trails as well as we visited a local winery called Big Door. Tyler was a great host and reached out a few times during our stay to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We will be back! Thank you Tyler....

Get Away From it All

We are looking forward to visiting this property again! Clean, great layout and has the essentials you need. Hit the grocery and grab what you need because once you arrive you won’t want to leave. Nice having all the water toys, amazing dock and hot tub was really cleaned. All around loved this place.

The Perfect Getaway

From the initial booking through leaving Tyler's communication was wonderful -- from random questions to general stay information. The house is like stepping into a HGTV "after," perfectly curated with comfy in mind. The kitchen was well equipped for seven nights of cooking in for five people. We spent most of our time outside. The deck area is just great. There is something for everyone's taste. So glad we rented the boat, it was great to be able to just come and go as we wanted and be able to check out the entire lake. The water was clean and great for swimming. The community has nice, well marked hiking trails. I can't imagine you would ever regret staying here!

Fantastic slice of summer!

We've been repeat clients of BlueGill Basecamp. It is set up perfectly for a family or friends to have a relaxing weekend on the lake. Swim, water bike, canoe, paddleboard, kayak and more all in the clear, quiet surrounds of Lake Arrowhead. Family Getaway

Used this location as vacation to gather the family that has been spreading out over several states. Everyone loved the house and deck/dock and we have already talked about a return stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Loved the deck and dock. We spent days swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and riding hydrobikes.

Weekend get away

The property was exactly as advertised. The water toys, the deck the barbecue grill it was all great. The lake was great with an expanded no way zone making it perfect for Kayaking and Canoeing. The facility was more than adequately supplied with a wide variety in life jackets and sizes of each. The place was well supplied with all kitchen utensils. We grilled out every night on the charcoal grill. My spouse and i cannot wait to return to the property.
