Easy lake access for boating, swimming, and fishing.

A unique, hand carved totem pole that adds character and local artistry.

Our vacant adjacent lot to the cabin gives plenty of space to relax, unwind with a campfire, or play yard games. Ample parking for guest boat trailer too.

Fantastic public sandy beach and boating landing just down the street hence the name, Whipholt Beach Rd.

We are proud to support the Eric F. Netter Fund, 10% net proceeds from our guest stays are donated to the foundation which provides scholarships every year to young men and women enrolled in trade schools throughout Minnesota.

The Bear's Den is a darling place to stay on a vacation. While the bedrooms were on the smaller side, the living areas had tons of room to relax and move around, which is where it really matters. The furniture was comfortable (my personal requirement), the kitchen was open and spacious, and the dining room had plenty of room for playing cards or having a meal.The rooms had super comfortable twin beds and bed linens. We just pushed ours together for that king bed experience!The cabin is in a little community with VERY friendly neighbors. If you were bringing the kids, they could easily ride bikes or play out in the street without you having to worry. There were a few kids out in the street playing basketball while we were there, having a blast.If you were looking for somewhere super private, however, this might not be your place. But if you like socializing and being in a welcoming community, this is your spot.
