New stay for us

Very nice hotel. Very helpful staff who carried our luggage to our room. Bed very comfortable. Air conditioning very efficient as was heating. Great shower. Small basin . Good number of plug sockets. Tv ok when we worked out how to use it. Good amount of tea , coffee and biscuits. Bottled water great Breakfast was pleasant and served with a smile. You had to order the night before . Great coffee

What an amazing little gem

 so unexpected
.. greeting, hospitality and level of service was 5 star. The room and bathroom spotless with everything we could need including drinking chocolate and lovely large cups for our morning cuppa. Bed linen and towels beautifully fresh and snowy white. Excellent stay x

Gorgeous decor.

Quality and decor of room was excellent. The room was just too small and felt enclosed. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice.

The hotel to choose in Warrington

This recent conversion of a former bank has been executed to a very high standard. The rooms and bathrooms are tastefully modern and comfortable. The staff were most helpful and obviously keen to please. There is also very good on site parking.

Great location

We stayed at Parr’s Hall hotel as it was the venue for our son’s wedding.Beautiful old building which has been decorated and furnished tastefully. Check in was straightforward and efficient. The rooms were of good size and the bathroom had a very efficient shower. Comfortable bed and good sleep.

Room was nice (small but nice), sink is a crazy small size and impossible to have a shave without flooding the floor. AC was great, shower was very good however if you want to watch TV you have to cast from your phone or watch YouTube. Apps on the TV need your own accounts to use them such as ITVX. Would have been happy with a couple of channels, news etc. Ordered breakfast from the dining room, service was deathly slow and there were only two people seated, both were eating continental so not much to do. I ordered Full English which arrived burnt and inedible, sent back and refused to pay ÂŁ10 for a poor meal. Left the hotel with a croissant in my hand, got a great breakfast at the station! Will not use this hotel again sadly, beautiful inside.

Shambolic Hotel - Staff clueless!

The hotel pictures look great, and the hotel itself is an amazing building. The room was good too, but that's where it ends! We arrived after a long journey hoping for some food only to be informed the chef was feeling 'iffy' so they weren't doing food. We were asked about breakfast, and we both said a full English, which was noted, and were informed breakfast would be served at 7am. Given it was around 6pm we decided to go to the bar for a drink. Only one lager on tap, which fortunately was one I like, only to be told, they'd run out (this was a Saturday!) We wanted an early start in the morning so arrived for breakfast at 7.15 am only to be told, breakfast wouldn't be served until 8am! We therefore had a hot drink, and waited. At 8.10am I asked the member of staff who knew we were there for breakfast, if we had to order? She said yes, so we did. She then informed us that despite me having paid for a breakfast when booking online, a full English was an upgrade, and wanted 10 per person extra!. We said no, and went to see the receptionist, who then said the breakfast was an upgrade and I'd have to pay ÂŁ18!?!. At no point were we informed of this when we spoke to a man on reception the previous day, who began every sentence with the word, sweet! So we left. I asked to speak to the manager, but she wasn't there until Monday, and she would call me. No call, so I called the hotel to be informed she was on holiday and they didn't know when she was back! Unbelievable!

Very modern room with excellent facilities. However we found the bed very small and the heating in the bathroom was inadequate. Primarily a function destination the hotel has no bar or restaurant that one would expect in a city hotel, also no lift.
