Nice shower pressure in the rather small shower. The hot water took a verrrrry long time to come through in the morning, (but was ok at night). The plugging mechanism in the ensuite sink in our room would not stay down resulting in the inability to fill the basin. I did inform the desk staff of this so hopefully it will be dealt to.

This motel is in a convenient location near the ferry terminal and close to restaurants and various site seeing. It is very basic but just as a place to put your head for a night its fine. Just dont take room 902 - very noisy.

Staff was very good and friendly, food was amazing. The only thing we did not like was, no bathroom extraction and room felt suffocated after using heater or air conditioner. Also we were 3 adults in a room and towels, glasses, coffee mugs, spoons everything provided was 2 and not 3. We wanted to have coffee, but had to have turn by turn as only 2 mugs were there. Also out of 2 towels, 1 towel was lying on floor and 1 on bed. To technically 1 fresh towel.

Family trip to Wellington

On arrival the front house staff member did appropriate check-in but failed to ask us have we been here before. We were handed our keycards but we weren't asked if we had used them before and weren't showned how to use it in the lift. Another holiday maker showed us how to use it. Front staff didnt tel us any info about the meal options avaliable in the restaurant. Found room to be adequate for our needs some areas of housekeeping need improvement considering your star rating. There is a saying you get what you pay for, found pricing good and affordable for local travellers but in our opinion the floor we were on level 4 was like an upmarket backpackers. Found hotel generally extremely noisy in regard to internal noise not traffic noise kids running around floors above. I believe your rooms are excellent forvan overnight stay but anything over two days should be offered other options within the hotel.

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. Our room, as well as the entire floor, was not well-maintained. The carpet in our room had old gum embedded in it, and the hallway carpets were visibly dirty. Additionally, room service trays remained outside guests’ doors for over 24 hours before being picked up. Noise was another issue—throughout the night, we heard constant bumps from the walls, making it difficult to sleep. At one point, we strongly considered leaving and returning to the DoubleTree a block away, where we had a much better experience the previous week. Fortunately, that was the only place our traveling companions had picked out and we only had to survive one night. Overall, while the staff was welcoming, the lack of cleanliness and excessive noise made for an unpleasant stay.
