Worst short-term rental experience. Cheap Dollar store sheets and towels, horrible beds, nothing felt properly cleaned, there was a weird smell that was covered up by a bunch of plug in air fresheners. Kitchen was poorly stocked, no dishwasher soap, washer and dryer from the 80’s and dryer made loud squeaking noise. The hosts number was disconnected, toilet clogged and spent hours on the phone with VRBO, and they eventually reached her after several attempts. Had to buy a plunger because there wasn’t one. Host did send a plumber.0/10 would not recommend. Total waste of money.

Las camas no son muy comodas ...en varias ocaciones tratamos de comunicarnos con los anfitrión y no respondieron hasta que la persona quizo...también ya cuando pudimos contactar ala persona nos dijeron de los utencilios que no los metimos ala lavavajillas y perdon pero te cobran un porcentaje de limpieza ..

This home was a comfort for our trip to Wichita! It has the nostalgic charm of an older house, yet is very well cared for, clean, and nicely decorated. The beds and living spaces were comfortable after long days, and the host added thoughtful aromatherapy touches throughout that made it feel extra welcoming. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the photos don’t quite capture how nice the home really is. We’d happily stay here again!

I stayed here for 1 night for work. I enjoyed the neighborhood and the comfort of the house. I played guitar on the front porch after dark which was lovely.

In Wichita for Midwest Catholic Family Conference

This is the second year to stay at this house. It is very nice & very clean. Last year I told you it would be preferable to have top sheets on the beds. As it is now, the only cover is a coverlet with no top sheet. I have to wonder if the coverlet gets washed after each guest stay. I always put a top sheet on my beds at home so that I can fold it over the coverlet. That would definitely be an improvement. We were pleased otherwise.

We had a very nice stay here when visiting family. I had to call the host at 9:45pm to ask a question and she answered the phone right away and provided me with what I needed. House was clean and comfortable. It definitely provided ample space for the three of us which is what we wanted. It’s definitely a better option than a hotel if you need more space and freedom of movement at the same price or even lower than some hotel options. We will stay there again.

Mediocre at best

We stayed one night and would not have stayed longer by choice. The smell of the house was strong- not just "old house" smell as others have implied. People have clearly smoked in the house and the detergents used on the bedding were so strong it was hard to sleep. The shower is difficult to get to work (a simple explanation in the bathroom would help), but beyond that the shower is so clogged up with hair that it barrly drains. We tried to plug something into the bedroom and it caused sparks. The air didnt work in one of the bedrooms. We were woken several times by screaming neighbors (not the property's fault but it did detract from being able to sleep).

Great one-night stay

The inside of the home is perfect! Nice and clean, comfortable beds. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. The outside of the home could use some cleaning up. The grass was pretty tall and the trees really needed trimming. This did not affect our stay at all. I also had a little trouble with locking the front door. You have ro hold down the lock button instead of just pressing it. Overall it was a great stay. Would stay again for sure!
