A cosy guest house in walking distance to the main shops and boat cruises on Lake Windermere. Quiet location with good parking outside. Clean room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

Hawkesmore , what a fabulous place

Absolutely amazing stay , so comfortable, Suzanna and Pamela are amazing hosts , couldn't do enough for us. From male the room gorgeous everyday to sorting taxis and giving the warmest welcome every morning at breakfast. My husband is always looking at facilities and cleanliness and said it was by far the best. Toiletries were a lovely touch and every comfort catered for. We will definitely be back

You won’t find a better place - perfect!

Fantastic place - can’t fault anything! Lovely, warm & cosy room with a nice calming view, good size & spotlessly clean. Amazing bathroom with bath & shower plus a TV for lounging in a piping hot bath after a days’ hiking. Beautiful high-quality toiletries & fixtures. Amazing breakfast & superb service from all staff. Plus it’s only a 15-minute walk to the lakeside.
