Made the reservation in August. Checked in after 4:00PM. Took my credit card for incidentals then told me my room wasn’t ready. I was told about a half hour. After checking with the front desk hourly, with Peter, I went to the manager, Stacy. I said three hours is my limit. Oh. You room was booked through Expedia. I asked if that was bad. She said no, but you will receive a credit for waiting three hours to check in. She said because it was booked through Expedia, the credit would come through Expedia. I will be waiting for a response within 5 business days.

Was expecting this place to be a bit over touristy, old and dusty, but was pleasantly suprised. We stayed in the actual Inn, with shared shower and toilets, which we were concerned about, but they were nice quality, reasonably clean, and empty whenever we needed to use them. Bedroom was very quaint. Not having an en-suite is a bit of a pain, but it actually added to the authenticity of the building. We would stay again. Ground floor or reception is full of tourists come to see the old building, but upstairs is quiet enough to get seating and listen to the music and soak up the atmosphere. ts just a shame that the bars upstairs dont have dishwashers, so drinks are in plastic glasses, and seating does not have side tables. They really need to find a simple solution here, as sitting and having a drink in the main hall could be so much more of a pleasure for guests.

Great location to see a variety of the gysers and of course "Old Faithful!" Room did not have a bathroom and the walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night was not fun! Shared showers were gross - filled with hair! We saw others wearing robes and we did not have any in our room. Buffet lunch was good value but dinner buffet way to expensive!
