21 Scarcroft Road - a family break that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
Located just a short walk from York city centre, this spacious 3 bedroom property has been newly furnished throughout to the highest of standards.
Stepping through the private entrance into the spacious tiled hallway you will be immediately impressed by the quality and sense of space. To the left is the main living room featuring seating for 6 and a wall mounted TV. To the right of the hall is a second reception room complete with ‘L' shaped sofa and Smart TV. This then leads through to the fantastic house kitchen, a room that certainly has the ‘wow factor'. An amazing space with granite worktops, dining table to seat 6, Aga cooker and plus an additional electric oven and gas hob; You really will want for nothing here! The property also has an enclosed, private patio area with outdoor seating. The ground floor of the property also has a separate wc.
Moving up to the first floor you will find 2 double bedrooms along with the main house bathroom complete with free-standing shower. There is also an office room on this floor just perfect for the guests looking to do some work away from home.
On the top floor there is a fabulous master bedroom complete with king size bed, wall mounted TV and ensuite containing a free-standing bath and walk in shower. There's also a walk-in wardrobe space just off the ensuite.
The house has the added benefit of being pet friendly. Private parking is provided for 1 car just a short 5-10 minute walk away.

Beautiful period property, poor customer service
Stunning property within a 10 minute walk from York city centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very comfortable and ideal for our needs. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch.
A couple of negative points, the WiFi was hit and miss, there were no instructions on how to use the microwave/combi oven so we had to drive to Leeds to borrow an air fryer from a friend. The Aga would’ve taken 3 hours to heat and not ideal during the summer months. I phoned the emergency out of hours helpline to request instructions and was informed I’d receive an email but this did not happen. I also asked for early check in/late check out several times and was given a different answer each time. No text sent on the day of arrival as promised. We were finally granted an extra hour for late check out.
