Fantastic Shambles Location

Fully equipped and ready for your Shambles Holiday. Bedroom is away from the street so noise is limited. Fun, exciting location, Pubs and stores literal steps away.

I booked many flats for this vacation & others, this location has a 2nd payment method that was inconvenient. I almost cancelled as they called several times finalize, on UK time, ie, 430am US time. The payment process was not intuitive & I felt their replies were a bit terse. That settled, the property is in the heart of the Shsmbles, which is quaint. However, for someone who prefers ease when traveling, I would rebook this apartment. The entry is a lock boxed key. It was a little finicky to open. And there's one key set, so my family had to plan who had key if we separated. It was warm in June, I knew no a/c, but NO windows opened. When I asked, contact replied to try again-- we got 2 inches open in living room. Bedroom, which is barred& has barbed wires protecting window, is still painted short. The one fan provided in the bedroom is on a timer , so throughout night I had to restart several times. My kids on sofa bed were warm. Unit is cute & tidy, but lacked extra tp ( we bought more.) and no shower products aside from small soap bar. The W/D looked nice ( we've used similar units all over Europe) but we could not figure it out. The property binder appliance QR directs to a manufacturer. So, yes it's cute, convenient location, staff answered my questions or offered another fan, but on vacation or while planning vacation, I don't want have to keep asking questions or make concessions. If there's no ac , windows should open and certain comforts should be present.
