Hotel & room were nice & clean, breakfast very good disappointed after spending a long day in York returned to spend a relaxing evening in room & TV wouldn't work. Had to go out instead as it couldn't be fixed or replaced.

The hotel itself is fine. Quiet location. If you do not have a vehicle this is not a good choice. There is nothing within walking distance and no sidewalks. We had considerable difficulty gettting a taxi or an Uber from the nearest shopping centre back to the hotel. It took an hour to secure a ride. Although we had pre-booked a taxi on the day of our departure, we had to call more than once to get that ride. A taxi driver told us that the drivers don't like going to the hotel even though it's less than 15 minutes from downtown York.

Great find of a hotel as didnt want to stay in centre .Friendly staff. Quick check in Short drive to shopp outlet and quick uber into centre. Hotel was really clean . Comfy beds. No complaints from us ....we will be back
