Ideal for visits to York.

Lovely stay breakfast was great too certainly worth having . Friendly staff , rooms good size and lots of open space outside ideal for visits to York. Would stay again .

great stay

I am gluten and dairy free due to allergies and was unsure what on the menu I could eat. I spoke to the waiter, who spoke to the chef, and he made me gluten-free fish and chips and a dairy-free horseradish sauce, which was delicious and much appreciated!

Only stayed 1 night which was grand from check in with lovely helpful lass on reception who mcould not have been more helpful. Bar and restaurant staff very polite, helpful and efficient. Some of the decor and furniture in the rooms looking tired and in need of sprucing up. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel was excellent and a stones throw from the park and ride which was great for going into the centre of York. The hotel itself was great the staff was really polite and helpful nothing was to much for them to do and the meals were very good we will definitely be going back there again

great hotel

great hotel, not the newest but is clean and comfortable. beds are huge! stayed here before and liked it so we came back. only problem was a noisy fan on a wall outside our room. we like the window open at night so was a bit annoying. didn't spoil our stay though and we'll be back
