The Old Fruit Warehouse

This is a one bedroom ground floor apartment in central York, less than 10 minutes walk to York Minster.

There is a car park to the rear of the property with a car parking space for the apartment.

The apartment has one bedroom to the rear of the property with a large and comfortable King size bed, bedside tables with bedside lamps, large set of drawers and wardrobe.

There is a large hallway with cupboard leading to the other rooms in the apartment.

NEWLEY FITTED LUXURY BATHROOM SUITE.
There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and L shaped bath with shower over bath. Hand soap, bath mat and towels provided.

Newly fitted kitchen as of June 2021. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains microwave, cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine/dryer, Dishwasher, kettle and toaster.

There is a large living room with double sofa bed, tv, dining table and 5 chairs, games, DVDs, books and FREE WiFi.

The apartment can sleep up to five adults,
When booking for 3, 4, 5 guests, the double sofa bed and single pull-out bed are included.

If booking for 2 guests and you would like to add the sofa bed or single pull out, extra charges apply.

For those travelling with little ones, a travel cot is also available.

Inside, the apartment is well laid out and tastefully furnished throughout. The large bedroom, located at the quieter rear of the property, features a luxurious king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a spacious chest of drawers and a wardrobe – offering plenty of storage for longer stays.

A central hallway connects the living areas, with a large storage cupboard for added convenience. The recently installed luxury bathroom includes a toilet, sink, and an L-shaped bath with a shower overhead. Towels, bath mat and hand soap are all provided for your stay.

The modern kitchen was newly fitted in June 2021 and is fully equipped with everything you need, including a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle and toaster – perfect whether you’re staying a weekend or a week.

The spacious living room is ideal for relaxing, with TV, a dining table with five chairs, books, games, DVDs, and free WiFi.

It was nice to have a kitchen and ability to do laundry because we here there for a week. The bathroom is small, but to be expected for an older building. I would’ve liked a little more direction on where we could get groceries. And the walls were very thin. The upstairs neighbors are loud.

This flat was comfortable and cosy. It came with a designated parking spot which was a special plus. The flat was only 10 minutes walk into the heart of York which made it very convenient for seniors sight seeing. If ever we returned to York we would definitely rebook.

Xmas markets

I picked this particular property due to location and the fact that it came with a parking space. The property was as described and in fact probably exceeded expectations. Everywhere was very well equipped and clean; it was very cold outside but the heating worked well; main bed and sofa bed were both very comfy and there is plenty of storage / hanging space for clothes. There was a small amount of noise from the road outside and people moving around in the flat above but it is a town-centre flat so this was to be expected and was certainly not intrusive. One suggestion - maybe fit a curtain or blinds to the kitchen door that could be used if someone is staying in the sofa bed in the lounge. All in all a great stay and we will probably be back next time we visit York.

Excellent ground floor flat, great for our needs. Super comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and brilliant shower. Location just right. Will definitely stay here again. Personally would prefer a Chubb lock as well on actual flat door. Otherwise, amazing!!

Propery was excellent, in a quiet location and within easy walking distance to the centre. Perfect for us. Clean, modernised and more than adequate. Great to have our own car parking spot. All was perfect for us.

Our time in York!

This unit in York, was conveniently located to sites like The Shambles, shopping and general site seeing, including the Roman Wall. Angela communicated very well helping us with check-in and the washer/dryer that we had trouble with. She was very proactive in having it looked at. Afterwords, it worked well. The bed was a bit soft, but overall the place was great!

A very convenient location in York

The location is close by everyplace you’ll want to go in York. The apartment is spacious with all the amenities you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Take the steps at Monkgate for a nice walk along the Wall. For a fun way to see the city that’ll take you to places you wouldn’t otherwise visit, try Baja Bikes. Cecil gives an outstanding bicycle tour.

The apartment was immaculate the owner kept us fully informed and it was as expected very close to the city centre we walked every day into the town we chose this apartment because it had its own parking space and once parked we didn’t need to move it again this is a great location and would recommend it to all we are an older couple close to retirement and found plenty to do.

Perfect location, just a short walk to the old city walls, in a nice neighborhood. The flat was immaculate and it was obvious the owner went to great lengths to keep it that way and to make guests welcome. Great communication, comfortable bedroom and living room sofa-bed with separate doors for privacy. Nice sized bathroom with tub and shower. Fully equipped kitchen was smallish, but very functional.
