Hotel Futaba truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed as a family of five, and the room was incredibly spacious, more like staying in an apartment than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both breakfast and dinner were included, which was a huge bonus and meant we didn’t have to go out searching for food after a long day of snowboarding. We experienced a kaiseki dinner for the first time and it was absolutely amazing, one of the best cultural experiences of our trip. The hotel is conveniently located close to the station and Yuzawa Kogen Resort, and having the ski room and equipment hire all in one place made everything so easy. The rooftop onsen was beautiful, and we also had a private in-room onsen, which was perfect for us. As I have tattoos and couldn’t use the public onsen, having an in-room option made the stay even more special. Overall, an exceptional stay for our family and one we would happily recommend.

Excellent hotel, it sits on the top of the hill that overlooks the city. The room was very comfortable and we happen to also have a private osen inside our bathroom in the balcony which was amazing. I recommend getting the room with breakfast. The city doesn't open early as most restaurant in the city opens in the afternoon. Unless your planning to skip breakfast I highly recommend you get breakfast option with your reservation. The hotel restaurant opens at 8pm, if your an early eater like myself, there are plenty of restaurants in the city that is about 8 minute downhill walk to that has plenty of options. The only downside of this hotel, is the shuttle bus that it offers does not go to any of the ski-resorts. You will need to take the ski resort shuttle that is pre-determine around the city. Otherwise, they offer shuttle to the train station.

We love Yuzawa as a get one night get away. We stayed here because someone in our party wanted a private Onsen in the room. The rooms are large and great for families. However, the property is a bit date and the in room tub was small. They have a beautiful waterfall. Too bad it’s not lit at night nor could we go outside to take pictures

Excellent hotel, typical Japanese with immaculate cleanliness and condition. Room is fairly large and could fit 3 large men comfortably. Each room has an assigned service attendance, ours spoke 4 languages! Japanese, English, Cantonese and Chinese! Very attentive to details and made our stay very enjoyable.

Excellent Service and Beautiful hotel

Wonderful service, Good environment, Near town and station, Dinner is fantastic, beautiful hot-spring area (it has 28 different types of hot-spring) My daughter was sick and all staffs was very helpful, especial thanks Miss Chan. They help me to find the medicine and very caring.
