The staff were helpful throughout our stay, particularly the staff member who checked us in, who was very pleasant, professional, and well presented. The room was clean and well maintained. The only aspect we would criticise is the air conditioning: the wall controller was not very responsive, even though it advised waiting six seconds, and the fan was quite noisy and tended to dry out the room quickly, which made it somewhat uncomfortable. The breakfast was good and offered a reasonable variety of food; however, having largely the same options each day became slightly monotonous. We would also prefer that staff guiding guests to their tables avoid handling cutlery where possible, as this would help reassure guests about hygiene, particularly in light of ongoing health concerns such as COVID-19, nipah virus and other infectious diseases.
