The picturesque village Aldein is located at the foot of the Schwarzhorn and Weißhorn mountains and is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in the Dolomites. Here you will find the beautiful holiday home “Wies Wieserhof”, which is surrounded by green meadows and which boasts breathtaking views over the mountains. This light-flooded apartment is really spacious (103 sqm), and its high-quality wooden furnishings and rustic decorations create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed holiday in the mountains. It consists of a spacious living/dining room, a well-equipped open kitchen, 2 bedrooms (with a double bed each) as well as 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with bathtub) and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite and cable television, a baby cot (upon request), a children's bed and a highchair (upon request). The house also offers a nice balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or start the day with a warm cup of coffee. Guests can also access the communal lounge shared with other vacation rentals where they can socialise, play cards or enjoy a nice glass of wine. There is also a library where you can borrow hiking and tour guides, children's books and board games. Apart from this, there are also a herb garden and a small farm shop on the property where guests can purchase herbal tea blends, fruit spreads or pickled vegetables among other things. If you are traveling with children they will indeed have a great time at the playground and running around safely while enjoying the fresh air. You will find the closest supermarket just 800m away (2 minutes driving, 10 minutes walking). The Wieserhof where the apartment is located also has its own mountain hut (Schönrastalm) which is open all year round and which can be easily reached on foot in 10 minutes from the Schmiederalm parking lot. This is the perfect accommodation for nature lovers and mountain sports enthusiasts, as it is very close to many hiking routes and cycling paths for both beginner and experienced levels. For example, one of the hiking highlights of the region is the Bletterbach Gorge route, which starts at a 14-minute drive from the property. Also if you are staying in Ferienwohnung WIES Wieserhof during the winter for a skiing getaway you can easily reach the Jochgrimm ski resort (39 minutes driving) and the Obereggen ski area (29 minutes driving).

schöne Lage
Pros: Die Gastgeber waren super nett. Die Wohnung war soweit ok, sauber gepflegt empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück auf der Alm, die zu dem Anwesen gehört absolut empfehlenswert.
Cons: Am Anreisetag war in der ausgebauten Scheune auf dem Grundstück eine italienische Hochzeit, der gesamte Hof war zugeparkt, sehr viele Menschen, auf einem angekündigten ruhigen Bauernhof, für unseren leider sensiblen Hund ein No Go, da sie reizempfindlich ist und jeder Lärm zu Angstzuständen bei ihr führt. Das fand ich sehr schade, das hat die Idylle des bäuerlichen Anwesens sehr getrübt. Das wäre aber das einzige was wir zu bemängeln hätten, der Rest absolut empfehlenswert.

Entspannte kurze Familienauszeit mit Wiederholungsgefahr
Pros: Große, sehr schöne Wohnung auf einem idyllischen Hof mit Kühen, Ziegen, Hasen, Katzen und einem Hofhund. Ideal für Familien. Schöner kleiner Garten (eingezäunt) mit Spielplatz. Bäcker und Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar (ca. 15min.). Insgesamt sehr ansprechende Umgebung für Spaziergänge, Wanderungen, Ausflüge. Sehr freundliche und entgegenkommende Gastgeber, angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir (3 Generationen) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne (bei hoffentlich besserem Wetter) wieder.
Cons: Das WLan hat immer mal wieder geschwächelt und ein paar Tischsets (besonders mit Kleinkind) wären gut gewesen. Das ist aber Jammern auf allerhöchstem Niveau und hat die Urlaubsfreude in keinster Weise getrübt. Nur das Wetter hätten wir uns besser gewünscht, aber dafür kann keiner was.

Sehr schöne neue Wohnung
Pros: Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und ein guter Frühstücksservice sofern man es möchte.
Ausserdem gibt es noch eine dazugehörige Alm die man unbedingt besuchen sollte.
Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder.
