Beautiful Lakehouse conveniently situated close to hwy 280

Beautiful lake house just a half mile off 280. Outstanding views of Lake Martin. Come take a relaxing vacation at one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Martin at"Southern Comfort". We have a 3 bedroom ,2.5 bathroom in this beautiful lake front home. Every room in the house has an awesome view of the lake. All stainless appliances and kitchen utensils for your cooking convenience. The living room is very large for all your entertainment needs. The house has WIFI internet and boasts a 55" 4k TV with Netflix and a huge sectional sofa with a queen let out bed.The dining room boast a large expandable table and a fixed bar top.The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a beautiful stone walk in shower. Our house also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. The outside has a large deck with a outdoor grill so you can grill and never miss a minute of whats going on inside or outside. The house has a handicap ramp leading into the house and onto the deck. There is a nice private pier for docking your boat, swimming or catching fish. There is also a firepit with benches so you can enjoy a nice fire while making smores. For our wonderful fishermen we had 2 seperate driveways with electrical outlets. If you have specific questions you can always get in touch at 2053545349. We are conveniently located less than a mile off of highway 280 at the River Bridge and directly across from River North Marina. Boat ramp is located less than 5 miles away. We are less than 10 minutes from Wind Creek State Park and 30 minutes from Auburn. As always rent 6 nights the 7th is free.

The property and lake were perfect for our girls getaway! Everything we needed was available at the cabin while things we forgot were easily accessible at a nearby Walmart. The host was very responsive to questions that we had. We look forward to staying at another time!

Great remodel of an older home gives open space to gather and beautiful views of the lake. Conveniently located off 280 but minimal road noise. Not much boat traffic in October but probably more at Russell Marina across the lake when the weather is warmer. 10/10 would rent again.

Great experience all together

It was a great experience from check-in to check-out. The host was awesome and communication with him was easy. Easy to find and quite neighborhood. The house was clean and fully stocked enough linens for my family. Great place on the lake. I wouldn't plan to leave your boat in the water while you stay even with bumpers, the water traffic made it really difficult to keep our boat secure. There is a marina directly across the lake that you can pay to dock your boat though so that can be a easy work around. Overall it was great..

Beautiful view, nice house

Overall, this is a nice house with a great view. It definitely could use some TLC as most things seem to be on their last leg and bed in second room needs new mattress. Host communicated quickly and was very accommodating. Would recommend!

Nice stay

We had a nice weekend stay while we were at Lake Martin for a wedding. This is an older home but is in decent shape. The view from the deck is beautiful and was a great place to have morning coffee. There were a lot of random things that looked messy in the kitchen cabinets and drawers which was a little off putting when we were looking for utensils and plates to use. Other than that, this was a good place to stay for the weekend!

Amazing week on the lake!

The owner was very prompt in getting us the check in info and everything was smooth. We enjoyed a week on the lake on our pontoon and caught fish all week. The house was exactly as described and housed my family and friends very comfortably. It was great having Walmart, Publix etc just down the road. We are already planning on booking this house again!

The second bedroom bed was bad you couldn’t sleep in it because it would hurt your back. The dock was not set up for a boat to unload so we had to move it around to the steps to be able to get to our boats and we used our tops to tie up the floating dock by the steps . Over all it was nothing like in the pictures

Overall was pretty good. We really enjoyed the stay. Loved the lake view, plenty of room. Just a few issues. The full bed in the room I used had a terrible mattress, other than that, some things need a little TLC. I do recommend this house for rental. With just a few changes, it can be spectacular. Can’t beat the view, and the location was great. I only contacted the host once for a question, and Heath responded quickly. May return this summer with my boat.

Beautiful Sunrise

Beautiful view, B.A.S.S. tournament was that weekend at the Wind Creek State Park and even though we had no idea and we don’t fish- we had fun watching them from the deck and I pulled it up on YouTube so we could track how they were doing. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Exactly what we Wanted

The check in process was seamless. The house was clean and was exactly as described. The view was awesome. Husband caught (and released) many bass and bream from the dock. Bed was comfortable. AC worked great. I have zero complaints.

We had a wonderful trip! It was our first trip to Lake Martin and we couldn’t have been happier. This lake house was perfect for our family, and we were so thankful our furry one could join us! We all wished we could stay longer. The owner responded very quickly to answer our questions. We would love to stay here again.

House problems

House could be beautiful with new furniture and a real deep cleaning job and organization of cabinets. No bath products, no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner, no body wash, and no towels put out in bathroom, and no blow dryer. No doors on closet. Needs new and more living room furniture. Dining room table is falling down. Middle bed room is hideous. I hate to make a review like this and I hope Heath will take this as a good thing and show this house some TLC. We the renters pay for the cleaner between renters. There was no cleaner. The coffee pot had not even been clean and tore up after the first pot of coffee after we cleaned the pot. My sister in law and I have traveled all over this country and never seen anything as bad as this. It is a beautiful place and right on the lake.
