Completely remodeled 5 bedroom/3bath home on Lake Carlos. House is 35ft from the water with two decks outside for relaxing or gathering to grill and eat. Sits on 1 Acre with lots of space for parking. Shelf with a firepit by the Lake and dock. Kitchen has granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Has central A/C and heat so no window units to worry about. Features two living rooms each with a large screen TV and stereo speakers. Porch overlooking the lake has a wood burning stone fireplace. Wood for the firepit by the lake is included in the rental. Upper porch area has a wicker furniture setup to relax and watch the waves and boats go by. Lots of room for guests to spread out for privacy or gather together in the living rooms. Please note a few stairs to navigate. Lake Carlos is 165ft deep just a couple hundred feet off shore. Water is clear and there is no mud in the swimming area. Weeds do start to grow by early August but we clear them out by the dock. Boat lift is included and is setup for pontoon but an aluminum fishing boat fits on there as well. Three paddle boards are available as long as you wear a life-vest when using. Yellow peddle/paddle boat included in rental as well. Life vests available. LP gas included with rental. Kitchen is fully outfitted like a home versus a rental. Boat House and Garage are not included as part of rental. Boat house is a closet where I keep my fishing gear. Call 612-599-5196 if you have any questions regarding our cabin rental.

Everything you need is there, just bring your food and clothes. Beautiful lake views throughout the home. It was quiet here. Grandkids really enjoyed the paddle boards. Lots of activities to do in Alex if a rainy day.

Lake Carlos Lake Home: our new favorite place!

The house and property were even better than pictured! Ron and his wife have really made this lake house a home away from home. We could see the love that went into updating the property and truly appreciated all of the comfort items ready for use. The kitchen was well supplied, and we appreciated the extra large table for family meals and games. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well stocked with fresh linens. Details such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap were all thought of and provided. We truly just had to bring in our luggage and make a run to the grocery store for food and drinks and were ready to enjoy our week. While the house was comfortable, we spent most of our time enjoying ourselves outdoors at this beautiful property. Flowers were in bloom all around the house, and the trees provided ample shade for the many outdoor seating areas. The property includes a private dock, great for jumping into the cool, clear water of Lake Carlos. We also really appreciated being able to use the pedal boat and several stand up paddle boards that were provided. Life jackets and lake towels were there ready for use, too! All in all, our family vacation was wonderful, and I strongly recommend staying at the lake home Ron and his wife have set up their guests.

Lake Carlos Family Reunion

The home is large and comfortable with plenty of room for all the adults staying for the week as well as nieces, nephews and their kids who came for a day of swimming, boating and BBQ. All the appliances functioned well and having laundry onsite was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our family gathering and would not hesitate to rent from Ron again and recommend him to friends.

Kind and compassionate, clean and awesome!

The property is just as advertised. It is spacious and clean. There are a lot of steps, but they are manageable for my family and I. The upper deck is an amazing place to sit and watch the lake. The dock is sturdy and the boats are in good condition. The owner is kind and compassionate and booked us in at the last minute because our other accommodations fell through. I would absolutely recommend this property and this owner to anyone.
