Experience Minnesota lake living at our charming retreat on Lake Cowdry. 2-for-1! This pet-friendly property offers two separate sleeping areas. "The Main Cottage" offers modern amenities in a cozy, nostalgic setting with a kitchen, bedroom, full bathroom and pull-out sofa. "The Hut" is a converted lakeside boathouse that includes a queen bed and half bathroom. Enjoy lake views, a private dock, canoe, bikes, propane grill, and 55-inch smart TV. Perfect for a family vacation or couple's getaway!



The Space:

Quiet hours (10PM-7AM) are strictly enforced, along with the 6 person / 4 vehicle maximum.

Please note, water to "The Hut" will be shut off from November 1st to April 15th since the water line is not insulated. Toilet and sink will not operate during this time. Three season space within the cabin is useable, but can be cold in the winter since this property is an older cabin.

Meanwhile, "The Hut" is a beautifully converted lakeside boathouse featuring a plush queen bed and a convenient half bathroom. The toilet and sink in The Hut will only be operational when temperatures are above freezing.



Wake up to stunning lake views, and spend your days relaxing on the private dock, exploring the water with the provided canoe, or biking around the scenic area. Grill up a feast on the propane grill and gather around the 55-inch smart TV for cozy movie nights. Whether you're planning a family vacation or a romantic getaway, our retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in the heart of nature.

Guests will have access to the entire property, which includes the driveway, garage, The Main Cottage, The Hut, backyard, private dock and lake.

Other Things to Note:

*HOUSE RULES*

-All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.

-Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors!! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.

-No parties or large gatherings. Only those included on the reservation are allowed in the space.

-1 dog over 25 lbs. or two dogs under 25 lbs. allowed.

-No smoking inside of the home. If you do smoke outside, please discard in a can and throw away at time of departure.

-Toilets are for toilet paper ONLY.

-No grease in the sink

-No Fireworks

-This property has a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.

-All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo ID ID to verify your identity prior to check-in. No exception.

-Our Rental Agreement and Check-In Form must be signed prior to arrival.

-Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.

-If there is any damage or excessive mess incurred during your stay, your group will be held responsible.

-Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.
