A perfect base to explore Alghero

A spacious apartment with garden near the water that is well located to the old city of Alghero. Candida is readily available and helpful as a host and the apartment is equipped with all a travelling couple could want. Handy to the local market and many fine restaurants and stores. Highly recommended for exploring this charming city.

Agréable chaleureux

Nous avons été bien reçus par la propriétaire Candida à notre arrivée avec en cadeau de la charcuterie sarde des boissons et des petites pizzas. L’appartement est à 5 minutes de la jetee qui mène au centre ville. Tous les commerces sont à proximité. Le petit jardin est agréable on peut se reposer en toute tranquillité .L’appartement est très bien équipé et la décoration est chaleureuse et reposante.

Un grand merci à Candida pour son accueil charmant (bière Sarde et petits gâteaux délicieux!). L'appartement (très propre et décoré avec goût) est idéalement situé dans Alghero. A 5 mn à pied du centre historique, il est également proche de tous les commerces. En plus, le petit jardin est très agréable pour profiter du soleil.

Appartement magnifique! Vue sur la mer, quartier résidentiel, jardin très bien entretenu et plein de charme. Quant à l'intérieur, appartement spacieux et fonctionnel, décoration de très bon gout, propreté exemplaire, équipement complet. Un appartement de charme dans une ville magnifique

Une personne charmante que l'on a envie de plus envie de connaitre, un appartement lumineux où l'on a apprcie de se détendre, une ville riche de son histoire où il fait bon déambuler, une région magnifique qui pousse à la découverte. Voici les 4 éléments indispensables pour un séjour réussi. Et à Alghero, chez Candida, ces 4 éléments étaient réunis. Séjour en famille pendant une semaine où nous avons apprécié l'accueil (gâteaux, boissons fraiches), l'équipement très complet (jusqu'aux petits détails pour un séjour sans souci), la situation de cet appartement tout neuf et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires sont supers accueillants et nous donnent de bonnes adresses de visites, plages, restaurants. Ils sont de plus attentifs à nos remarques pour que nous profitions au mieux de ces vacances . Vraiment une adresse à retenir pour un séjour très agréable dans Alghero et ses environs.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Candida’s schöne Wohnung mit Garten sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen, nah am Meer (Lungomare Dante), nah an der Altstadt (5-10 Minuten laufen), in einem ruhigen Wohnquartier. Supermärkte und gute Restaurants befinden sich in der direkten Nachbarschaft. Die Wohnung selber war auch super ausgestattet. Alghero selber ist ein idealer Ort für Ferien: sehr schöne Altstadt, gute Infrastruktur, viele schöne Strände in der Gegend und interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten in Umland. Ein Auto ist aber empfehlenswert.

Wonderful stay in Sardinia for our first visit to the island

We had a wonderful experience with prompt and efficient responses to our queries . The property was even better than the photographs . Location was execellrnt for easy walking into this attractive resort. The owners could not have done more for us even giving a lift to the airport for our flight home. A truly fantastic holiday .

Beautiful apartment - very clean and great neighbourhood.

We had a really lovely stay at Candida’s apartment. It’s beautiful and the neighbourhood is so great and handy for the old town. We found it a great size for the 3 of us (my husband and I and our 20-month old son) There is a travel cot but bring your own high chair if you need one. The only two tricky things were the parking (limited on busy days) and the current building works next door which were quite loud. Otherwise it was perfect - bright and airy, clean, safe and such a lovely location for exploring Alghero and the surrounding area. Candida is so friendly and does everything she can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. A really great find!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour à Alghero. L'appartement est coquet, très propre, aménagé avec goût et plein d'attention. Un plateau de jambon et fromage ainsi que des Dolce nous attendaient .... Candidi est prévenante. C'est une location à recommander. 3 minutes à pied pour se rendre dans le centre historique. Et un jardin avec de jolis coins au frais pour s'assoir et manger dehors.

Great host and apartment

The apartment is very central without being too close to very tourist-heavy areas. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Candida (the host) was very nice and welcoming. The only small warning i would give is to bring slippers outside the summer months - the floor is tiled everywhere and can be quite cold to walk on.

Great Apartment to stay in Alghero

The apartment is great and highly recommended to stay in Alghero. Candida welcomed us with some Italian speciality and even our late arrival at 11 pm was no problem. The baby cot was prepared and even a baby chair was provided. The apartment is new, very clean and equipped with everything you need. It is possible to walk to the Alghero old town in just 5 minutes along the sea side. The apartment comes with a beautiful little garden with banana and lemon trees. I can highly recommend the apartment and if we will come back to Alghero we will book it again.

Ho soggiornato per 2 settimane con la mia Famiglia , moglie e 2 ragazze di 15 anni nella bellissima proprietà della Sig.ra Candida . Devo dire che dal vivo è tutto ancora più bello , la casa è davvero spaziosa , luminosa e arredata davvero con gusto...tutto è nuovo è trasmette un idea di pulizia e freschezza...non manca niente e nonosttante la posizione centrale niente disturba la quiete e la tranquillità. il giardino privato a disposizione ,bellisimo e curatissimo , permette di rilassarsi e mangiare all'aperto. Laccoglienza della Sig.ra Candida al nostro arrivo è la disponibilità dimostrata durante il soggiorno è stata di prim'ordine. Perfect apartment !

For the second time I have been on holiday in this wonderful apartment. Last year with my son and now with my husband and daughter, because I also wanted to show them this beautiful apartment and Alghero. We were warmly welcomed by Candida with delicious Italian snacks. It is such a clean and bright apartment. Large living room with large sofa bed, new kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine) a beautiful bedroom with comfortable bed and everything nicely decorated. The garden is full of beautiful flowering plants, orange trees, palms, etc., nice place to sit and rest. During high season it does take some time to find parking space around the apartment. That's why it's so nice that we could walk from the apartment via the boulevard to the old town in 5 minutes with the nice narrow streets and shops and the many good restaurants. It is also nice to rent bikes to go to the beautiful beach Maria Pia. Or drive by car along the beautiful coastal road to Bosa and back through the inland. There is so much to discover in the area. We can definitely recommend this lovely home. Dear Candida, thank you, and we will come back again.

Wir wurden von Candida sehr herzlich empfangen und verbrachten im Juni zwei schöne Wochen in dem tollen Appartement in Alghero. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und der gepflegte Garten machten den Aufenthalt im Appartement, in dem es an nichts fehlte, besonders angenehm. Helle stilvolle Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben diese tolle Unterkunft eine Woche lang mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern genossen. Der Empfang durch Candida war sehr herzlich und sie stand für alle Fragen gern zur Verfügung. Der sehr gepflegte Garten ist von der Küche zugänglich, perfekt fürs Essen. Alle Küchenutensilien vorhanden, reichlich Handtuch-Nachschub.

Absolut perfect holidays!

We are from Germany and stayed from 08.10.-18.10.17 in Alghero. It was fantastic. We had that wonderful flat from Candida, who is a lovely person and an exellent host. Un piccolo gioiello !!!

Prima di descrivere la mia esperienzia e giudizio dell´alloggio che ho occupato dal 04 al 08.09.2017 voglio complimentarmi e ringraziare la Signora Candida per la sua cordiale accoglienza e l´inaspettata sorpresa di farmi trovare la tavola bandita di dolci tipici sardi ed alcune confezioni di acqua e birra ( ichnusa ) nel frigo. L´alloggio é veramente un piccolo gioiello. Al primo impatto si percepisce da subito, la recente ristrutturazione ( il bagno in particolare ) e la piacevole sensazione di fresco e pulito. `Nel suo insieme é arredato con stile e buon gusto nonché fornito di ogni confort ( due televisori, aria condizionata, Wi-Fi per la connessione ad Internet ). La zona cucina é fornita di nuovi elettrodomestici ( frigo, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, cucina a gas e forno a microonde ) e di suficientemente posateria e accessori per la cucina in buonissimo stato d´uso. La zona della cittá nella quale é collocato l´alloggio è tranquilla e a pochissimi passi dal lungo mare ( zona pedonale ) con vista verso il promontorio di Capo Caccia che regala dei tramonti mozzafiato Le 5 stelle di gradimento che le ho attribuito le ritengo piú che meritate.

Difficile immaginare di meglio !!

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare nella casa della sig.ra Candida nel mese di agosto. L’appartamento è splendido, dotato di tutti i comfort immaginabili e davvero molto pulito. Il giardino, sempre curato ed accogliente, permette di cenare all’ombra di alberi di arancio. La posizione è tattica, ad un passo dal centro e dalle spiagge ma allo stesso tempo tranquillo e silenzioso, con vista mare. La signora Candida ci ha accolti con calore e gentilezza, dimostrandosi disponibile per ogni nostra necessità. E' da tanti anni che organizziamo le nostre vacanze tramite siti specializzati come Homelidays ma l'accoglienza e le attenzioni riservate dalla signora Candida sono state davvero fuori dal comune. Che dire…ci auguriamo di tornare presto !

Perfekte Ferienwohnung

Wir haben 3 ½ sehr schöne Wochen in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Candida ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Sie wohnt im gleichen Haus. Bei Problemen (falls es die überhaupt gibt) sorgt sie sehr schnell für eine Lösung (wir hatten einmal ca. 5 Std. kein Internet, sie löste das Problem umgehend, als sie davon erfuhr). Ansonsten hält sie sich sehr im Hintergrund. Von der Wohnung aus ist alles sehr gut und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen – in die Altstadt ca. 10 Minuten, zu einem sehr gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt in ca. 5 Minuten, ebenso lange dauert es zum nächsten Restaurant. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Da es teilweise sehr heiß war, haben wir uns auch über die gut funktionierenden Klimaanlagen gefreut. Es ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung, die Bilder übertreiben nicht. Highlight war für uns der Garten. Hier hielten wir uns fast nur auf, wenn wir zu Hause waren. Bemerkenswert ist außerdem, dass es in der Umgebung der Wohnung sehr viele kostenfreie Parkplätze gibt, dies ist bei Ferienwohnungen nicht selbstverständlich. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Sardinien fahren, werden wir uns auf jeden Fall bemühen, diese Wohnung wieder zu mieten.
