Romantic Retreat- Luxury Algoma Lakehouse, 310ft of private shore, Fire pit!

Two Person Tub! Enjoy the sights & sounds of Lake Michigan with it's beautiful sunrise (or moonrise!) on over 320 feet of private shoreline on over one private acre, with the lakeshore only 75 feet accessible from the yard! Listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep with patio doors off the master bedroom! The house design comes from a fire lookout tower containing windows all around the top level for 360 degree viewing. Every level has its own bedroom and bathroom. The tower has a large great room with vaulted ceilings, 2 couch sectionals/ a perfect hangout for entertaining with a wetbar and mini fridge that overlooks the lake, with a gas fireplace, a two person soaking tub, exterior walk around catwalk and a bedroom equipped with two full size beds. The main level has a kitchen, custom live-edge dining table for 7, gas fireplace, bath with full glass shower enclosure with view of the lake from the bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen bed, deck with table and umbrella and gas grill. The lower level has the master suite/Queen with two patio doors opening to a private deck with another table, overlooking the lake and its own private bathroom and TV /office/reading area. Enjoy the views from 3 different decks on various levels overlooking the lake. Just 12 miles to Door County shopping and restaurants, plus shops, restaurants, sandy Crescent Beach, Boardwalk, & all the history of nearby Algoma with Wineries, Breweries, the Anahpee Bike Trail, Kayak and paddle board rentals, Golf, and world class fishing charters.Lounge chairs provide a great lakeside retreat, on 3 decks connected to the home. Fire pit and chairs steps from the lake. Note: Security cameras located on property exterior front and back decks. If you're staying to see a Green Bay Packer Game, you can take the Kewaunee County Chamber of Commerce Packer Shuttle to/from the game for $30. Check their website for availability.

Beautiful, private property. We enjoyed it thoroughly with our two small children. The house has room for everyone, and upstairs is a great "kids area" with toys, games, TV and a room with a couple beds. We had a blast on the shore of the lake, wading and playing with rocks. The property is so quiet and private that I could have coffee on the shore and not see another soul.

Great host!

Beautiful views. Comfortable bed. Provided plenty of towels, washcloths, beach towels. Host was wonderful, excellent communication and very helpful recommendations. The only downside was the challenging climb to the water. Some of our family had more difficulty navigating the climb up and down.

Memorial day weekend

Excellent location! The lakehouse had plenty of space for the 6 of us. They had everything we needed & then some. If you're looking rocks, this is the place to be! Access to the beach was a little tricky to navigate but once you get there you won't want to leave! Seeing a flock of pelicans was definitely an unexpected surprise! We'd love to visit again some time in the future!

Fantastic Solo Retreat

I was looking for a lakeside house for a long weekend of rest and relaxation to get away from the busyness of work/life, and this property provided exactly that! Algoma is one of my family's favorite vacation spots, and I loved being close in proximity while being able to enjoy the quiet and the night sky offered by being just outside of town. The property is clearly well-maintained with a very comfortable home-away-from-home feel. The lakeside location was priceless between relaxing on the beach, watching wildlife activity (including a bald eagle!), viewing sunrises over the lake (I say as someone who's generally not a morning person), and listening the continual sound of waves on the shore. It was truly one of my best vacation experiences, and I hope to return sometime!

LOVELY lakeside getaway

This property was fantastic and the host was wonderful to work with. Couldn't be happier with our girls weekend getaway. The thoughtful details throughout the house and property were amazing. We were treated to spectacular sun and moon rises and enjoyed every second - games overlooking the lake, a relaxing tub, cozy fireplaces, full kitchen, great views, comfy beds, comfy hammocks, SUPER CLEAN! Highly recommend.

Wish we lived here!

Fantastic property, private lakefront - our stay was so rejuvenating! The views were magnificent. We loved having a fire near the beach every night, looking at the stars, and listening to the waves! Algoma is a charming little town and close to all the things in Door County! Highly recommend!

A Lovely Time by the Lake

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time in Algoma!! We chose this property with a mind to the view, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and appointments and were NOT disappointed. Rachel was fabulous with communication from the outset and steered us to some wonderful "gems" locally. We loved the fact that Algoma was "on the path", but still a bit away from the craziness that is further north on 42 in Door County. Just know that if you are headed to Peninsula State Park or Washington Island, you will have a drive. Having said that, we found the drive lovely, and the opportunities to stop to see sights, shop, buy cheese and fresh cherries all part of the charm. We would also HIGHLY recommend the lighthouse just north of Bailey's Harbor at Cana Island!! It was well worth the drive! We walked daily "on the beach" and (may) have collected a rock or two for some decoration. We really enjoyed seeing the wildlife throughout our visit, and even had an Eagle tooling up the beach early one morning.

Magical Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The house was everything we hoped it would be from the pictures - spacious inside with lots of space for the family to spread out between the three floors. Plenty of hang-out space inside. Amazing outdoor space with lots of deck areas and direct access to the beach. But hands down our favorite was the fire pit just off the beach! We made a fire almost every night and loved sitting by the fire listening to the waves as the sun went down. No complaints at all about our stay here - it was magical!

Amazing weekend away

We only stayed 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. This lake home is absolutely amazing. 3 levels with bathrooms and bedroom on each level all with water views. The best part is the private beach filled with tons of rocks, if you love rock picking you will love this house. We definitely will be back 😊

Amazing View!

Amazing stay and amazing view. Very impressed with the house. The place was very clean and the homeowner was very gracious. We rented the place for a week with the intent to throw an 80th birthday party for my mother. My family are Green Bay natives and have stayed in many lake houses in the area but were truly impressed with this place. Amazing views of the lake from all levels of the house and great deck space to accommodate any social gathering. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice home beautifully situated on Lake Michigan Great place to relax and listen to the water! Came to the area for a Packer game, was about a 40 min drive to the stadium. Would be a great place for up to 3 couples to stay. Would like to come back in warmer weather, maybe a September game next time!

Magical Stay

This property was everything advertised and more. The beach outside, which even in overcast September, was still nice to put the feet in. The kiddos ADORED it! The house itself was immaculately clean. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. The kids stayed on the uppermost level where they felt like a big deal with their own living area and huge sinker tub (which they each used more than a couple of times!). Cooking a couple meals in the kitchen with the window facing out towards Lake Michigan, with the windows open to hear the ocean waves, was beyond peaceful. The location, too, was fantastic. About 30 minutes from Green Bay and Door County in each direction. HIGHLY recommend this gem of a home!

Beautiful Lakeview Home

Great location with beautiful views of Lake Michigan! Owners were very responsive and helpful during our stay. The only issues were deck rail lights that didn’t work and some steps down to the lake were loose. Being an older age group, we didn’t feel safe walking down to the lake, especially at night. Also, the grill was heavily caked from past use. My husband got that cleaned up so we could use it. Would definitely recommend this place to a younger group who could manage the steep deck steps.

Great house super close to water

My husband and our two teenagers stayed a week in the house. It was very clean, comfortable, and homey. There were spaces for us spend time together, but there were also plenty of spaces so we could spread out when we wanted. We have stayed in several houses on Lake Michigan and this one is by far the closest we have ever been to the water. It was close enough to Door County to experience everything it has to offer, but far enough away to avoid the bustle and enjoy the lake. We would highly recommend this property.
