I tried to check in early but couldn't and ended up sleeping in my car. I also did not like the fact the whole room was tiled, no carpet. We had an accessible room with a roll in shower. The whole bathroom floor was soaked and it became a hazard to walk and move around in there after a shower was taken.

The staff is very nice and curtious and the room was clean and well stocked with amenities..unfortunately the tv was going out, the heater/air conditioning unit stopped working, and you can hear everyone walking above and next door. Luckily we were busy and didn't spend much time at the room so with all that being said I think I would still give this place a 2nd chance hoping a different room would be better.

The hotel is clean, and well kept…However,, the walls are paper thin and that’s not an exaggeration. When the next door shower went on it sounded like it was in my room. Every step the people took above me sounded like a freight train. I could hear ever door slam throughout the night up until midnight.

The overall stay was great. There was no fan in the bathroom, the barn door on the bathroom was a horrendous idea (and did not lock), there was minimal parking at the hotel, and the pool was not heated though it was indoor. However, that’s where the negatives end. The staff members we interacted with were all wonderful. There were pamphlets (though a lot were a few years old and the places were closed or promotions over in 2022 and 2024) available by the machine. It’s a reasonable distance from downtown Asheville and easy to get into and out of. For the price it’s good, but I think next visit we will splurge on a hotel with a heated pool or hot tub.

Check-in clerk did not offer much of a welcome. The charges were somewhat higher than offered online. When I asked for a copy of the charges at checkout, I was told they couldn’t provide me with one that I had to get it from Expedia which I didn’t know that’s who handled the Hotels.Com. When entering the room, the entry light could not be located. We entered a dark room to turn on the light over the bed to see how to get in. Later, we found the light switch behind the sliding barn door (which we did not care for) that was open and hiding it.
