Basement Apartment on the Loop

Come enjoy the Classic City in this spacious and serene basement apartment. Location is convenient to all Athens has to offer. The Loop (Hwy 10) is 0.5 miles away, granting easy access to all areas of town, or take Atlanta Highway another 5.5 miles east into Downtown! This 1-bedroom, 1-bath basement apartment has a private entrance from the main house, is kept clean & orderly, and has a spacious living room to unwind after a long day and a quaint kitchenette with all amenities to meet your morning needs.

You will enter the apartment along the pathway through the front yard, where you’ll find a private entrance with keypad entry access. Upon entry, you’ll find yourself in the main living space, which includes the living room/TV area as well as the kitchenette/dining area. The kitchenette has all amenities needed to meet your evening/morning needs (sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee+coffee pot, and grab & go breakfast/snack items). Down the hallway, you’ll find one comfortable bedroom (queen) with a closet and one bathroom separate from the main living space. This unit is only approved for 2 guests; you must reach out in advance with requests for additional guests, which will result in an additional fee.

About your hosts: We are a family of 4 (Blake, Natalie + twin toddlers) living upstairs in the main house unit. While we will be available, if needed, we do not share any space with the basement apartment, and provide contact-less check-in and check-out for our guests. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or needs throughout your stay!

Outstanding from start to finish. All I needed was thoughtfully supplied and then some (coffee pods, cream/sweeteners, huge bar of soap along with shampoo and all that, as well as everything for the kitchenette. Eveything was clean, and comfortable. Great TV for the game with my UGA son. Great to know that the owners are at the home in case I had a question but they truly thought of everything. I would also mention that although I guess it's technically a basement you really wouldn't know it as it is flooded with natural light. I expect to return soon.
Excellent little welcome guide with local resources, tips for your stay and very simple check in/out instructions. Well done Natalie!

This place was the perfect cozy retreat with clean and comfortable rooms and plenty of space to relax. We loved seeing the deer family that seemed to love the yard next-door. Perfect pricing for the location too! Only recommendations would be to add a little more privacy curtains to the front door but other than that perfect (kids are definitely audible but I think it was sweet) thanks!

Great overnight stay in Athens

Communication from the hosts was easy and efficient as was the check-in process. Room was clean and despite being a basement apartment it was very quiet without a lot of noticeable overhead noise. Fridge, shower, living area, TV with options. Location solid--most of what we were doing was downtown so not right by that but not too far of a drive, and there are good restaurant options in the area as well. Would stay again if in Athens!

Great place for a short stay!

Staying at this property was just what I needed! I was coming into town for a few days and just needed a warm place to stay. There are young children upstairs so I could occasionally hear them but never anything that was bothersome! Highly recommend staying here!
