Built in 1849 and recently revitalized, The Athenian combines timeless architectural elegance with contemporary comforts. Grand opening September 1, 2024.

Our luxury Athena suite offers a spacious and elegantly designed retreat, featuring plush furnishings, a king sized bed, and a lavish en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower. This guest room is located on the second floor of the historic Inn and overlooks Hancock Ave and downtown Athens. The 377 sq ft room features a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom with spacious walk in shower. Enjoy the convenience of modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and mini fridge. (Please note- there is no elevator in the Inn)

Guests will have shared access to the beautifully appointed lounge and sitting room of the Inn.

Wow doesn’t even cover it. The owner greeted us when we arrived. She was absolutely lovely and helpful. The place is stunningly beautiful. We will only stay there when we visit Athens to watch our beloved Georgia Dawgs!!! Close to everything and you totally get the college town vibes. The Athenian is worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back!!! Go dawgs!

Absolutely beautiful property and great owners/hosts. Everything you need is provided and the property is beautifully decorated. Location is the best, walking distance to everything. Will definitely stay here again.
