Superbly comfortable sta before our early morning ferry (which was a 8 minute walk away). Great roof top bar too. Very well appointed rooms.

Due to a taxi strike we had trouble finding a ride to the port. The staff at the hotel helped us by calling transfers, giving us local city bus stops, and giving us directions. I will stay here again when I am cruising out of Piraeus (Athens) again.

Our room was lovely! We enjoyed the bathrobes and slippers…nice touch! The room also had all the convenience of a balcony, safe, nice closet and wonderful shower with great water pressure. The rooftop bar was a nice bonus in the evening with the great views. The only downside I would say is the area itself. That being said, the subway was very close to go to Athens. But overall I choose the hotel for its proximity to the cruise ports.

Had a one night stay before my VV cruise. (Took a taxi to port - cost was 11 euros. As a solo female traveler, I felt quite safe in the area of the hotel, even though at first glance it seemed shady. Walls of room were paper thin - would be the only negative. Maria at FD was wonderful and very helpful. Bed was super comfy and room was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Hotel is close to train station - about 3 short blocks. (just a few easy stops to Acropolis) Lots of cafe's, bakeries and stores near the hotel with delicious items to choose from.
