I had to clean our room and my sister did also. She even found pills on the nightstand. They are lucky we did not have kids because it looked like candy.

Room was nice and clean and quiet. Everyone was really friendly and helpful bar one staff member. Also do be prepared to pay a ‘damages’ bond on check in that you will be refunded after your stay. Overall a convenient place to stay for a couple nights for the price.

I was very disappointed with the fact that I had to ask for so many things that should have been there In the kitchen area the oven had no instructions how to use it also their oven tins for cooking with, on the hob their were no saucepans or frying pan. Their were no oven gloves to lift things out of the oven. When it came to a few bits of washing up their was no liquid or mops or drying up cloths. I also had to ask for a tin opener. Two days before my departure I booked a car to take me to the airport and an early morning call for 6 am The night before my departure I checked with reception that everything was on their list for the following morning.Fortunately I arose early but their was no call to my room as requested. The whole experience was a great disappointment

Great facilities, especially for the very reasonable price: Twin beds for kids, hair dryer, full kitchen, toiletries, lots of hot chocolate sachets, YouTube on TV, walkable to cbd, nxt to academic sector, secure parking - extra cost but worthwhile.

Clean, central, one staff member a bit rude.

A nice hotel in a central location. Clean, small kitchen available in room. Check in staff person was friendly. Later on, we were locked out of our safe and the evening staff person was not happy with us (kind of rude) saying she couldn’t help us at the moment as she couldn’t leave the front desk, but no was there at the time. We were leaving early in the morning and I went down an hour later and then she came to help (no was at the desk at that time either). She made us feel like we put her out and then she talked down to us about not using the safe.

Early check-in was excellent. Room was small but had great amenities including fridge and microwave. Credit card surcharge of 3.5% was excessive. Breakfast buffet had good selection but cooked buffet element poor quality. Cold runny scrambled eggs, fatty undercooked bacon, tasteless sausages

The location was very hard for me you can't walk at all to the city I have to take Uber two times a day, plus the furniture very old the dinner table was crooked and not stable, for me it's no windows you can open or balcony,

Friendly staff and good facilities. Near top of hill on main road into CBD, so easy 15/20 minute walk to CBD/waterfront but take bus or taxi to avoid walk up hill. Limited good restaurants in close area but OK for quick/burger style. Small supermarkets very close.

one of the female receptionists were really not helpful and kinda rude, I checked in the evening at 3rd Jan 2025. I was struggling with the WIFI as it was connected, but can't access the internet. The log in screen popped out only on the reception area, but not in my level (level 3). When I was trying to talk that to the receptionist, first I have to wait 2 minutes before she hang up her mobile phone and stop giggling. Her phone conversation, from what I heard, seemed a private/random chat. And when I explained to her, she said "OK, come down to the receiption area and use the WIFI there". My god, does she realise the customers books a hotel nor for going to the lobby to use the hotels' WIFI? She also said, "talk to the receptionist tomorrow when I am not in charge". The second day when I talk this WIFI issue to another male receptionist, he solved the problem by just resetting the router and he literally described what the issue is and how he can solve the problem.
