e enjoyed our 4 nights at the Canalta. We did feel the room lighting was too dim. The breakfast was really good. I needed a wheelchair and it was provided for me. THANK YOU FOR THAT. REALLY APPRECIATED.

Great social, hangout area in the lobby and courtyard. The complimentary s’mores were a hit with the kids, and the hot tubs and cold plunge were also enjoyed. Breakfast buffet was yummy! The rooms were updated and trendy.

Great place to stay-within walking distance to shops and restaurants but enough away that it’s not as high traffic. Little things were really nice-water fill station, nespresso machine in the room with cream in the fridge, games available to play in the cozy lobby. Nice back patio and little bar.

We enjoyed the location and the bed was comfortable. The shower was very small and the room took three days to cool down, as the air conditioning unit was not very powerful.

I loved the location and they offer free ROAM tickets to downtown. We walked most of the time. The free breakfast was good with different options to choose from. Sad to say though that the housekeeping expected a tip for cleaning with their envelope there and I tip well when I feel it is deserved. Most things were taken care of. Empty body wash dispenser first day and NEVER replaced our dirty glasses and I had brought a coffee cup up one morning and they never collected it. I did leave a note the last night of our stay…..very nice lodge but need housekeeping improvements on an individual basis. Overall good lodging! We had a wonderful balcony and housekeeping never checked for bird poop on the outside seating so I finally cleaned it myself.

We just spent 3 nights here and loved it. The hot tubs and cold plunge were put to use daily and my teenagers made good use of the huge and delicious breakfast each morning! Parking was the only tricky aspect since we opted for the free parking on the street. In the end we always found a spot but it took some extra time. We’d stay here again! The location is perfect - just on the cusp of the bustling town and so easy to get to and from. Plus it’s a darling hotel with all the amenities!

The staff at the property were so helpful and went above and beyond to provide tips and recommendations for our hiking questions. The hot tubs were relaxing great after long days of hiking outside. The common areas are clean and beautiful. It's a great hotel at a good price. I would come back!

Very nice lodge. Probably the furthest hotel down Banff Ave, but very close to a Roam Transit stop, so very easy to get down to the shops and restaurants. Nice clean room. Very comfortable bed/bedding. The hot tubs, lounge pool, sauna and fire pit were very neat, although we did not get a chance to use them. Would highly recommend this property.
