Traveled from December 22-29th family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 11). Our room was on the first floor which was fantastic because our kids could open the door and just go right outside to play in the snow while me and my husband watched them from the room. The restaurant has great food and service. Checking in and out was great. It’s an excellent location! Public transport is across the street. Free shuttles to Mr norquay and other places stop right next door. Banff ave (Main Street for walking) is walking distance. The rooms are a bit small but we are not skiers so we didn’t have much in the room anyway. Beds were queen size and big enough. Housekeeping was really great as well. Nothing negative to say!

Great convenient location. Great hot tubs on roof and everything was clean. Front desk staff were excellent no request was ever too hard. The bar staff were not great and we found one in particular very unwelcoming. We asked If we could take our drinks to the fire and were told no however watched other guests take their drinks and sit by the fire. After 2 nights of being made feel unwelcome we then went elsewhere for our evening drinks.

We stayed in the 2 queen suite. Room was clean and it was really nice set up with an electric real looking fire. The bathroom and shower was super nice.. nice walk in shower with lots of space and good power … nice Rocky Mountain soaps as well. Bedroom was nice albeit very cosy beds super close together and not much room for storage. Hotel is beautiful and the location can’t be beat! 2 mins from centre of Banff. Would definitely stay there again

Heating was by way of an incredibly loud fan that couldn’t be set to auto (just on / off) and it blew right on us trying to sleep so much so that little sleep was had. Convenient location and clean but will not stay again if can’t get a proper sleep
