Great Stay

It was a wonderful stay. The suite that we had was roomy and clean. My little one loved the robot that provided jokes and apples in the lobby. Front desk staff were cheerful and helpful.

We were there from Sunday until Tuesday, got a room upgrade, which was nice and appreciated, however, there was no hot water for a shower late in the afternoon on Monday and the hot tub was out-of-service as well. On Tuesday morning there was still no hot water to shower. We reported it when we checked out and the front desk staff apologized for an unexpected problem. RCL is not an inexpensive hotel in Banff and they should have been able to offer more than just an apology for what was no hot water during our stay.

Hotel is nice but definitely dated. Few things didn't work quite properly. Room is not properly cleaned upon chicken but they did send somebody immediately after I called. Elevators seemed kind of sketchy as they continued movement when the doors were still open. All in all, a good hotel but probably not worth quite what we spent

Gone downhill

Stayed here few years ago great place to be. Had to check out day early for an emergency at work. they refused to give me any money back for the extra night I did not even stay at hotel when we were out of there before check out time. Sad to see some of these nicer hotels get ruined by horrible management and terrible customer service. Will not be coming back here

We were woken up by a fire alarm at 5 am due to the lobby fireplace activating the fire alarm. There were no instructions, followups during the alarm and or any discussion after the fact. When asked for compensation they said it wasn't their fault, would have been nice if they waived off the 20$/night parking fees that they do not advise you off prior to booking your stay.
