This unit is a 2 BR 3 BA unit (occupancy of 6), level in, with a great view looking down on the ski slopes below. Within a 200 yard walk you are at the top of Big Birch chair lift to start your day on the slopes. While in the condo you can enjoy the foosball table and bumper pool table, located in the loft. There are gas fire logs providing a romantic atmosphere and a wonderfully equipped kitchen to enjoy homecooked meals. This is the lowest priced 2BR with loft Reserve unit available - a great value. No smoking, NO pets, max occupancy is 6. *ONLY TWO(2) PARKING PERMITS PER UNIT. VEHICLES WITHOUT PERMITS WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE* 4x4/awd, chains or snow tires needed in winter. No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign rental agreement upon booking.

Quick snow ski weekend

All was great except the coffee maker did not work. We enjoyed the location and it was easy ski in and out location. 4-wheel drive truck was definitely needed on those snow days!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well appointed with everything you needed. A few more pans would’ve been nice for cooking, but we definitely made due. The house lives larger than you would imagine. One nice thing was that we ended up being able to ski in and out.

The unit was clean and comfortable with great views. I would not recommend trying to ski with young kids. While you can walk to the lift you need to walk down multiple flights of stairs which is very hard with young kids especially if there is weather. Be aware of the four wheel drive recommendation as it is a steep slope

Everything went smooth, from check in to check out. The place is located right on the mountain and views are spectacular. The place was big for the 5 of us. My kids loved it that they had their own room. Highly recommend. Food Lion dow. The road is great.

Great winter getaway

The condo was clean. It was ski in ski out but unfortunately we didn’t get to ski as there was no snow. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive as the roads are steep. The foosball table was at hit for our boys. It was great hiking at Grandfather mountain.

Excellent property | Horrible Property Management Company

First let me say that I highly suggest (as a property owner who rents on VRBO) that the owner of this property consider switching management companies. 1) We called two days ahead to see if we could add a night stay (which the website clearly said the property was available) and the property manager said they didn't have the resources to let us stay an additional night. 2) Check in states 4:00 but we were not able to check in until 6. 3) The water was turned off in the unit (no instructions from the property management company. Had to call plumber to get instructions on turning the water on. 4) Realized later that evening (after a day of skiing) that we had no hot water. Called plumber who said we needed to turn on the breaker to the hot water heater (no instructions from the management company). Had no hot water entire first day we were at the property. 5) Had to take the trash off to a public trash facility, as there is no close trash disposal Pros) 1) Clean Property with beautiful views 2) Very short drive to Sugar Mountain Resort 3) Very Private gated community Unfortunately due to the property management company, even though this property was great, we will not be returning to rent ANY property available from this company.
