When we arrived, the home had not been cleaned, there were dirty towels in the bathroom along with a dirty sink, sheets were not changed in either bedroom, garbage not emptied, no clean dishes where available. I communicated with the "help line" both verbally and via text and was told they were "working on it" two hours later towels and sheets were delivered to us via a representative however they did not enter the house. My family and I removed the used sheets, collected the used towels, wiped down the sinks and washed the dirty dishes. No help was offered other than having a manger call me which did not happen. After the fourth attempt to speak with a manager I asked for a refund of the cleaning fee, the customer representative stated that they would credit me. I understand that things can go wrong and if it would have been handled differently, I would have been more than understanding. This was not my first time renting through your company and have never had an issue; the lack of concern on your part was unexpected and unappreciated.

Mountain Get Away

We were in the Banner Elk area for a winery tour and get away with another couple. The property was perfect for our group! Both bedrooms had king size beds which is hard to find. The home was beautiful and had a well equipped kitchen and everything we needed to feel at home.to feel

Perfect Sugar MTN Condo with 5 Star Service

This condo was perfect for our sugar mountain ski vacation! It was perfectly described, perfectly cleaned, and perfectly located to the slopes. It’s walking distance if need be to the resort and the decor/ amenities were beautifully selected and still mountain cozy! The fireplace pilot light was off and we tried to get it relit but didn’t want to remove the logs to do so. It was no big deal and we told them that as well. They sent a maintenance man within hours to get it working and we were beyond impressed with how quickly they responded. We had such a great time and the beyond friendly service and even let us check in early with no problems that we are going to book this condo again next year for our ski trip again! Thank you for such an amazing condo and even more amazing service!! You've earned a definite repeat renter for me and my family! Thanks! Kenny H

Weekend ski trip

The space was perfect! Loved the kitchen. But the can opener didn’t work and there was no pasta strainer. We cooked all weekend. The foyer was awesome for all our snowboard gear. The beds were comfortable
 the pull out coach was not overly comfortable but served its purpose and was easy to set up each night. Great stay close to the slopes. I was hoping to be able to walk, and although you could, it was a good hike up a petty significant hill. Would definitely book again!

Vacasa has really gone downhill.

This property is super cute. Everything is fairly accurate. First time I've used a VRBO property (and I use them FREQUENTLY) that had such a poorly stocked kitchen (not just the lack of salt & pepper). So just be prepared to bring everything you usually use in a kitchen. Had nothing but problems trying to contact Vacasa/property managment and get some help with minor issues. We actually left early because I was so frustrated at their lack of response and action. I used to feel better when renting through Vacasa. No more

Terrible experience, no one cleaned the unit from the previous guest.

When we walked in, we saw there was food on the countertop, and nothing had been cleaned. Both beds had been slept in, all the bath towels were in a pile on the bathroom floor. The trashes were all full and one of the toilets had been used but not flushed. There were several dead bugs inside on the windowsills, which made me think the unit had not been cleaned in a long time. The unit also smelled musty/dirty. We called and reported the problem at 4 pm, and we were told they would work to either get the unit cleaned or get us a new unit to stay in. We were told they would call us back withing the hour with a solution. They also told us to have “dinner on them” while we waited. After 6 hours we returned, and nothing had been done and no one called. We were in the same dirty unit we left earlier. We called again and they asked us if we would clean the unit! We had two small children and no other options, so we knew we would have to start cleaning, except there were no cleaning supplies available and the closet that had the supplies was locked. We had to go to the store and buy supplies with our own money and then clean/do laundry just so we could sleep there that night. We were told we would receive a call the following day. We never got a call, ever.I still can’t believe we were asked to clean our own unit, with cleaning supplies we had to go out and purchase. We had to wash all the bedding and towels with laundry detergent we had to purchase.
