Newly renovated home in Banner Elk. Easy access to Profile Trail and sweeping views of Grandfather Mountain. Enjoy your morning coffee looking up at Grandfather Mountain, or relax in the hot tub and take in the peaceful sounds of nature. Within minutes of Sugar Mountain and all the amenities of Banner Elk. This home features 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 baths. On the main level of the home you will find an open concept floor plan from the living area to dining, and kitchen. Off the living room are two spacious decks overlooking the spectacular views of Grandfather Mountain. Also on the main level is the primary bedroom and full en suite bathroom. An office and large laundry room along with the half bath can all be found on the main living area. The downstairs has a cozy living area for large family gatherings. With the other three bedrooms on the lower level, a full coffee bar is located in the living room for easy access to that morning cup of Joe. On the outside of the home you will feel the crisp mountain air on one of four decks! A hot tub also awaits for those cool mountain evenings. Ample amounts of parking for all your guests. Easy access off Highway 105 and close proximity to everything Banner Elk has to offer. Roughly a 2 minute drive to Lowes Foods grocery, 5-8 minute drive the Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Boone and Blowing Rock are about 25 minutes from the home. With access to all things in the High Country, come stay ay Grandfather Getaway where to locals can show you the way!

Perfect house for a family getaway!

My husband and our 5 children (ages 10-18) stayed 3 nights following Christmas and cannot say enough good things about our visit! We pulled up to a picturesque view of the property that only continued once we were inside. Absolutely gorgeous views from the decks and bedrooms--we saw deer each morning and evening, and a new snow had made everything magical. The layout of the house is perfect--the main bedroom is separate from all the others. The downstairs "hangout" insured that the kids had plenty of space of their own, and the big TV was enjoyed most evenings with movies or games. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need. The beds were really comfortable and bathrooms clean and updated. The hot tub was ready to go when we got there, and was so fun to relax while looking at the snowy landscape! Location couldn't be better. Sugar Mountain is just around the corner. We enjoyed hiking Grandfather Mountain--both the summit and the profile trail (which is right down the street from the house). Great grocery store just down the street. Plenty of space for our family of 7. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful Home

The perfect getaway. This home is beautiful inside and out. Clean and lovely. The owner was excellent to work with. Our family will be back. The surrounding woods are excellent to explore and its close to town.

Perfect Getaway!

We stayed in this beautiful home in October 2022 to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everything was perfect - clean, every amenity you could think of, easy communication with owners, close to multiple hiking areas - we could not have loved it more! We especially loved the multiple porches to enjoy each day. We're already checking calendars for a return trip to this absolute gem of a home!
